Fans have launched a Facebook campaign to bring a localised version of Ni no Kuni to the Nintendo 3DS after Namco Bandai hinted that it could be a possibility. The popular title, which sees a boy transferred to a magical universe with his side-kick doll Drippy, was successfully received on the PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe earlier this year. It was also released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS in Japan. If you would like to see a localised version of Ni no Kuni, you can support the Facebook page here.

No, please dont do this. i just KNOW that, if Namco re-release this game, only a very small group of gamer will buy this. Because i think the most people, who completed the game on the ps3, won´t play 100h+ on the 3ds again. I absolutely love this game, and really recommend this to every ps3 owner, but im pretty sure if namco re-release that on the 3ds, they will make a lot of loss.

you do know most of the 3ds population is made up of nintendo game fans. they would look at this vs mario 3dland and pick mario 3dland. at least with the ps3 most of the people playing the ps3 already love JRPGs so putting it on the ps3 was obviously the smart thing for namco/bandi to do. if this suddenly came out on 3ds. there would be 0 who’d buy it. look at the sales of Tales of the Abyes. im like the only person that has that game on 3ds and ps2. in fact i bet b4 this message no one even knew it was available on 3ds… so you could see how namcobandi would make the smart choice and turn down this idea.

I would buy it on 3DS.
the 3 hour battery life of the 3ds wont work with this game. assuming it takes 100 hours to beat the game (with the platinum trophy equivalent) and assuming the battery lasts 3.5 hours (I usually get that) thats 28 charges for the whole game.
JRPGS require massive time investment that the 3ds sadly cannot provide ( I am of course ignoring the quick save function as you cannot use it in long battles and cutscenes) and there is nothing worse that getting immersed in a game and seeing that bloody red light flash out of the corner of your eye.
you know why rpg is best played on handheld? It got sleep mode and ps3 dont have sleep mode. You know how annoying it is to go to the save point on console because you have to go out to buy milk??? on handheld u just close ur 3ds and go to sleep mode without going to the save point all the time. So yes, put this game on 3ds and cancel all the jrpg coming to ps3 and just port it to handheld.
you obviously never played the game. you can save from any ware. the save points are more of a reference area/heal spot. so… why would you need sleep mode? if you need to stop just save and stop.
The 3DS XL has a better battery life, so it would work just fine with that.
Why on earth would anyone want this? This game sucks. The A.I is terrible, the plot is predictable and every single character is flatter then a piece of paper.

i don’t think the 3ds could do this game justice. and i don’t feel it would sell well on the WiiU since most of the people that have one don’t even know this game exists. it sells well on the ps3 simply because its more known for the none generic JRPG’s disgea,HDN,Cathrine,atlier totori,argerust war, etc. all of these games sell on the ps3 because there companies are more welcomed on sony products. i mean namco (now namcobandi) made the katamari sereas on sony products and they made grate sales. but when they differentiated and put katamari on the 360… lets just say it was the least selling of all the games. you may think its dumb to make certain games exclusive to one system. but sometimes it saves allot of money and prevents companies from going out of business. i will not support this. its not that i don’t think it deserves the port. more nino kuni fans would be awesome! i just don’t want namcobandi to loose any money. they make one of my favorite game sereas (tales of…) and i just don’t see them getting any money out of this.id rather some disheartened individuals be mad then have one of my fav companies go out of business because “fans” don’t like the ps3. this is just disgusting to me.

if namco will port it to the wii u i at least have something to play on it beside mario.
ah and level 5 if you did port it to the 3ds at least give it update to dq8 kind of visuals
