Capcom has announced via the Capcom Unity blog that Super Ghouls’n Ghosts and Ghosts’n Goblins will be released on the Wii U Virtual Console this month. Super Ghouls’n Ghosts will arrive on May 16th and Ghosts’n Goblins will be released May 30th. Capcom also announced that it has more classic games in the works for the Wii U Virtual Console. The company released Mega Man on the service today.

Panarama view is extremely cool btw. I hope they do lots more in the future. They could do Real time game demo/videos where you use the Wiiu gamepad to look around and explore or whatever!

Shouldn’t Pikmin 3 and Monolith Soft’s X be considered AAA games? Or are you talking about Super Smash Bros., Retro’s project and EAD Tokyo’s Mario specifically?
Pikmin 3 and Monolith Soft’s X are more of a lesser known title that doesn’t exactly have a big appeal as the Mario and Smash Bros games does.
Pikmin 3 is lame. Xenobalde 2 or “X” looks great though.

Not exactly. I will agree the Wii U doesn’t really have any legendary, Mega Man-level games in its library yet. However, one could say Mega Man and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts are better than every single game released in the last decade (Or vice versa, but I’m not really talking about opinions here). Ergo, these games have quite the legacy; so much so that it’d be hard for any game to compare. For that reason, I can’t agree with your sorrowful sentiment towards the Wii U’s library.
I hope the wiiU gamepad can handle being thrown across the room during rage quits. Such a hard game, but will there be restore points?

I wish they could add SNES version of Mega Man & Bass (Megaman & Forte) to Virtual Console. It’s my favorite Mega Man game but we don’t have that SNES version in Europe.
It’s most likely going to out once the GBA games come (it got released there).
