The Japan Times is reporting that Nintendo is trying to modify the Wii U so that smartphone applications can run on it. The publication says that Nintendo has offered professional-use conversion software to application developers so that they can get their applications playable on the console. The company hopes that this will provide a sales boost for the struggling console, as it will lead to an increase in popular titles. Sources also state that Nintendo will also focus on developing new applications internally.

Sony claims the Move was made in year 2000. However, that Move design copied the Wii U. Rumble paks started from Nintendo. Four players came from Nintendo. Analogs came from Nintendo. The Wiimote design on the Move, remote for the right hand and nunchuck for the left copied Nintnedo. Gameboy Adance was a controller for Gamecube waybefore Vita and Ps4. Miiverse is copied. That is why Nintendo didnt bring games out at Wii U’s launch. It would allow Sony plenty of time to copy those games with the connectivity between GAMEPAD and tv.

So, if anything, they’re probably in the red by this point.
Honestly, if Sony were to become a 3rd party developer, I’d love for them to be bought out by Nintendo. That way, I’d be able to enjoy the fantastic Sony games on a console from another fantastic company. The best of both worlds. I have an Acer Tablet 500. It would not make a good controller for the Xbox 720 because it is heavy as hell. I bought a stand for it And because Apple and Microsoft are enemies, don’t expect the IPad to be a controller for that. And I’m not buying another $500 tablet to be a controller for some video game console.
however I will be buying another Game pad for the Wii U since the console can support two tablets. I’m also looking forward to future Wii U games that support two tablets. so far no games can do that as of yet. I don’t think many people will buy Vista for that features. I mean people have to buy $250 controller plus $300 or over console just for one game. It is only good for people who already owned the Vita.
Also if Xbox is going to use tablets as a video game controller, bad idea. Tablets aren’t designed like the Nintendo Gampad. how long can you hold a $600 Tablet in your hand? Plus Tablets dont last as long as a controller. My acer Tablet takes a while to come on. Also it gets hot in your hand too. And thereis no fucking way I will let strangers play agaisnt me using my $600 tablet. 720 and PS4 on sale is going to be very interesting.
Madden hasn’t been announced for “Vita” this year either. Last year, Madden “13” was actually a gimped port of Madden 12 on the Vita. It sucked…so… Not sure what you’re getting at.
Also, Nintendo isn’t even really supporting two Gamepads, so third party devs can’t. Very, very few places (regions for that matter) sell gamepads separately.
Um Wii U in the future will support two gamepads. Do you need be to get the source? Who is to say SSB4 wont be the first game to handle 2?

Since the 720 IS SO MUCH POWERFUL THAN WII U, then it should be able to handle four tablets right. Only one problem, who the fuck is going to buy 4 $600 TABLETS four four players!?
Also tablets are uncomfortable and they dont have buttons or analog sticks!!! Also the more you use a tablet/Cell phone, the weaker the battery gets. And what if you want to take your 720 to your best friend’s house who lacks wifi? What play it through a hotspot that you brought with you and making your internet bill high as hell just to play Madden?
Also tablets change over a period time. So lets say you bought a tablet for your 720 controller. Toshiba then introduces a redesigned tablet. What if Toshiba stops updating the old tablet? After all the 1st generation Ipod touch is no longer getting updates.
Tablets won’t kill consoles because they dont make the best controllers. Controllers are droped abused and pounded on and they still operate. Tablets cant be abused like the Gamepad. The Gamepad can take a licking and keep on ticking.
I’m more excited for Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, Windwaker HD, 3D mario and Rayman Legends to be honest (Along with the plethora of 3ds titles coming up) rather than some smartphone apps..Still, if you put some cream on top of my cake, I’ll probably eat it all at once and be that little bit more satisfied.

And keep in mind that besides the Xbots, the Apples have bigger problems with the Samsung Confederancy and other players in their “Smartphone” battlefield so our Empire is far away from their reach…
Sooner or later, the Sony Units will be utterly defeated in Japan amd when that happens, China will be our main target as there are millions of gamers waiting to be Nintendofied there and so, the Xbots will have our even bigger swarm around them in the future…

they could finally have a media player app. since wii u supports most of 2 terra harddrives you could have a big library of blue ray format movies. im waiting exact for this (though nintendo could easally make this kind of app).

Wii U caters now to everybody. If people don’t realize this then they are being stubborn or trying to be “hardcore.” Why do people even classify themselves as hardcore gamer by the way? Is it by amount of time you play games or because you play mature games, both or can it be one of the two. Lots of BS.
