Regular Show: Mordecai And Rigby In 8-Bit Land Coming To Nintendo 3DS

regular_show

Making its first foray into the video game world, Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land brings the characters and humour from the Emmy Award-winning animated comedy to Nintendo 3DS this fall. Regular Show is the Cartoon Network series starring best friends Mordecai and Rigby and their adventures as groundskeepers of the local park. When Mordecai and Rigby get transported into some of their favorite video games they’ll have to use their best skills and unique abilities to traverse the various challenges to escape and get back home in this ‘eggscellent’ journey. Developed by WayForward, in close collaboration with show creator JG Quintel, Mordecai and Rigby prove that a day in the life of Regular Show is anything but.

    1. Far from it buddy, this is an amazing show. Take time to watch an episode and ull be hooked. Trust me. I’m getting this game!

        1. Are you serious? The first picture was only used once, before the Powerpuff Girls Movie bombed so bad, CN vowed to never produce another movie again. The other one was only used for bumpers during commercial breaks. Please stop wining about how “great” your childhood was, and let the next generation enjoy their’s.

  1. More modern day cartoon nonsense. Would it hurt to have a John black star or CBS story break cartoon special. These bizarre animated monstrosities are the reason our modern day kids are goofy and generally whimpy.

  2. I just experienced Dejavu. I was hoping for a Regular Show game to come and BOOM! We get another game by WayForward.

    1. Sergeant Major Kululu

Probably Both. They did the same with Adventure Time: Hey Ice King, Why’d You Steal Our Garbage!

  3. WayForward is a really busy studio right now with a regular show, adventure time and ducktales games in the work.

  4. Jebus, yeah… Knows people who watches it, I just can’t get into it myself like with anime and shit. While an old goofy cartoon can be fun, it’s just too random to have long lived value for me. But always great for fans I guess. =)

    1. It wasn’t, orginally it was on comedy central, but since many of cn shows were coming to an end, they bought the rites to regular show and aired it different to wat it orginally, check out the pilot, there’s so much swearing, south park look like a Nickelodeon show, adventure time was as a comedy central show to but it was also due to it being bought

      1. What are you even talking about? The version of Regular Show (which wasn’t the pilot and had nothing to do with the show) that had the swearing was JG’s student film at collage. It was shown at a film festival and impressed a CN producer, to the point were he got a show. It was never on Comedy Central, and neither was Adventure Time. AT was originally a short made by Pen Ward for Random Cartoons! on Nickelodeon. After the short became viral, Fred Siebert, (who is the founder of Fredorator and created the show AT was featured on) Produced it for Pen, and later it was picked up by CN after being rejected by Nick. Comedy Central has absolutely nothing to do with any of this.

  5. Anybody Remember Billy & Mandy and Fosters Home for imaginary friends man those were the best shows ever!

  6. I don’t really watch this show regularly (pun not intended), but I have caught a few episodes here and there on YouTube. Actually not a bad show. Kind of reminds me of a more low-key “Angry Beavers” from Nickelodeon’s heyday.
