Nintendo Wonders What You Want For Wii U Remake Of The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker

wind_waker_wii_u_screenshot

Nintendo UK has issued a press release that asks fans what they want for the Wii U remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, which is scheduled to launch later this year. The publisher is apparently taking notes of what fans are requesting for the remake, though it’s unknown whether their requests will be implemented in the final product. Other than the points listed in the press release below, what do you want for the remake? We already know that it will feature off-TV play, but what other Wii U GamePad-specific features are you hoping the game will offer? Let us know in the comments.

What’s on your wishlist for the new Wii U Zelda game?

With a brand new remake of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker on the way to the Wii U console, speculation has been mounting over what the reinvented game will be like.

Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto, who’s had a hand in the development of many popular Nintendo games with the exception of the Professor Layton series, has offered a few hints as to what we can expect from the new Wind Waker when it finally arrives. He told the ABC news network that HD capabilities of the Wii U will be able to “breathe new life” into the game, and also hinted that the game will have upgraded graphics, along with enhance lighting, better cel shading and overall, a more dynamic and vibrant look.

As it is being developed specifically for the Wii U console, the way the new Zelda: Wind Waker title is played will also be different from its Nintendo GameCube original. Similarly to the New Super Mario Bros. U title, Wind Waker players will have the option to play entirely on the Wii U GamePad. There will also be integration with the Wii U’s Miiverse, similarly to other games released for the console.

This is what we know about the new Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker game so far, but as for more detailed specs and features, we’re still completely in the dark. So, the question is – what would you like to see in the new Wind Waker? What would be on your wish list if you could have a hand in designing the game?

A number of game fans and pundits have a few suggestions, such as the following:

Bring back cut content – a lot of segments (specifically, dungeons) were cut from the original GameCube design due to time constraints, but these could easily be brought back and expanded on in the new title

The ability to change difficulty levels – fans of the Zelda series, or anyone who has ever played a Zelda game, might appreciate the chance to up the ante difficulty-wise, as well as turning off those annoying tutorials

Make sailing more fun – anyone who played the original Wind Waker will know that sailing in the game could be a bit of a chore. Lengthy and repetitive, Zelda fans agree that a way to make sailing faster and more enjoyable is a must when it comes to the new and improved game

These are just a few of the things Zelda fans would like to see in the brand new Wind Waker, but what improvements would be at the top of your list?

            1. Uhh Hellllo! Ben we have similar names thats so funny mother mostve named me after u or somthing because i love her

        1. What? You sad that you aren’t as badass as Link?

Haha! Even Samus has bigger balls than you do and Samus is a girl XD

    1. i want some sort of easter egg or tease towards the next zelda hidden somewhere in the game. would be awesome. or a brand new dungeon or re create once of the dungeons that were canned for wind waker, like the gamecube island

    1. Uhh hello. please dont add the new dungeons they werent added for a resson because they suck and nintendo no it.

      1. Didn’t it just say in the article that it was cut due to time restraints? Or did I just imagine that. Because I’m pretty sure you haven’t played the cut parts and have absolutely no idea what you’re saying.

        1. The first time I ever played Windwaker I was adamant to do without guides or help (as usual) and the game just sat there for about 3 weeks on that annoying triforce fetch quest bit. I lost the motivation to play it , it was so annoying.

Eventually I knuckled through it and it’s one of the greatest games ever made , but that bit sucks balls.

          1. The fetch quest was great…. It was just peaceful exploration… To bad u didn’t enjoy it and hoped it was over in 5 min.

      1. thekidnintendowiiman

No it isn’t, it would actually help with the whole ‘connectivity’ idea between the 3DS and Wii U, I’d like to see a 3DS-shaped Tingle Turner or at least a Wii U Gamepad one.

    1. Sky Grounder [@ Wii U]

Or they could use the GamePad while the main player uses the Wii U Pro Controller.
I do understand a little bit of Español~

  1. Cut down the Triforce Fetch Quest or replace it with a brand new temple, maybe for New Game+ add back in the temples that were cut out, but keep the original game the same for the most part. Maybe make sailing faster as well, or cut down the overall size of The Great Sea.

    1. Uhh hellow i liek ur idea of pro contoler but i want 2 play on the wii mote sideways i like my games like that.

        1. Every sentence you started with “Uhh helllo”… Did you stroke your mother’s dick? Or did she fuck you in the ass because you love her so much that she impregnated you? Is that why you have a mood swings?

          1. hey ben do you get picked on, it looks like it, you remind me of some dweebish nerd in a year younger than me, hes annoying and nobody likes him. you look almost exactly like him. maybe you are him. man you must get the worst and probably hate yourself for it. tip if this is true its your own fault for acting like this. im ususaly a very nice person, but you make me want to punch you. so you have to spam on a random website to get attention and still nobody cares. as long with all the other spammers who for some reason find going to places to post random shit is funny and makes them feel like there something

        1. Don’t feed the sad waste of sperm troll, please people, its one of the reasons why there are so many on this site, they obviously have no admins or moderators, either that or the guy is drunk all the time, and so not doing his job,i know people who actually avoid this site because of the trolls, so please ignore them, just like the rest of society does in their real lives, hence why they troll online all day, they are nobodies, who have to fill their worthless existence with a purpose, otherwise they would have no reason to live!

          1. yeah i know i just want to say if that kid was by me i would punch him in the face. it wouldnt be a unfair fight either not by the looks of it. i dont mind trolls its the spamming fags like him that are desperate for interaction, seriously the way he looks and what he does like taking a picture of his faggot self in the mirror. just makes me want to punch him until he has a reason to go to his mom

              1. ive all ready made peace and honestly dont care, while your being butthurt ill be living my live and dealing with my problems besides your little things. now stop attacking me because i believe morals.

                1. Don’t act like your being attacked, when that’s exactly what you are doing to others. If you HAD moved on and were dealing with YOUR problems, why would you feel the need to bring the subject up again? Morals, what a joke. If you respected others, then maybe I believe that statement.

                  1. im from mn, if you know why things might be a little worse here about this subject in the last 6 months it would make sense. thats it and im sorry i mentioned what i had to say pretty harsh at first. im guessing the community here was just heated up from this and now that its over it will seem normal. im over it and this is just plain the truth. also im kinda at a point where im kinda screwed myself over with things and been dealing with shit and i was being sorta a shit about it more than i should of.

              2. agreed, i too would stamp on his face if he were in front of me, trust me i understand u mate, the problem is people like him get off, they get say, an orgasm when they get a reaction from frustrating people online, that’s is the whole reason why they do what they do! i know its hard, but try to avoid it,if everyone ignored them, trust me they usually give up, an go elsewhere to try to see if they can get reactions, its flabbergasting to see how many spammers and trolls there are on this website, i love this site, but they really could do with some admins, hell i would be willing to do it for them, free of charge,if it meant i could block losers like bensanders, and all the other trolls, we all know who they are!

                1. yeah a lot of people find me a troll though so i would get banned haha, i mean come on some of my happiest moments is from playing on nintendo through shitty times when i was young. thats why i still like nintendo, even if i think they could do better with some things in recent years.

                1. kick me in the balls haha clown. you pussy what will you fucking get a cramp if you try not to be a pussy. also iwata and reggie are destroying nintendo they both suck.what happened did i piss you off or something. lol the only thing im laughing at is you. nice name it fits you to well!!!

    2. “Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto, who’s had a hand in the development of many popular Nintendo games with the exception of the Professor Layton series”

I love how Nintendo UK has to specify that :D

      1. I hope so, I heard the remake of Dragon Roost Isle by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, it sound so much more beautiful.

I would love it if Ninty teamed up with the LPO.

    3. It would be awesome if the game had a feature where you can Co-Op with your friends online, like in 4 swords. Also, they should have a wifi feature where you can play some mini games against your friends online, similar to the features that the Legend of Zelda Spirit had to offer.

      -Chompy-

    4. Some of the Cut content OR (which is more realistic) a master quest version after you beat the Game =D

            1. I can imagine this as music in the credits, during a certain event, or the title screen. It has too much of an ‘epic’ feel to it for it to be used as environmental music.

    5. FIX HOW RIDICULOUSLY EXHAUSTING THE TRIFORCE SHARD QUESTS WERE JESUS CHRIST THAT WAS LIKE HALF THE GAME AND IT WAS SO TIRING GETTING RUPEES FOR THAT GREEN SACK OF TRASH TO TELL YOU WHERE THE SHARD IS!!! JESUS CHRIST THEN YOU ACTUALLY HAD TO GO ON THE QUEST TO GET THE SHARD AND 90% OF THE TIME IT WASN’T EVEN COOL IT WAS JUST OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN MOST OF THE TIME WITH NO COOL ISLANDS OR ANYTHING IT WAS LITERALLY THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING GOOD LORD

        1. that was a sidequest. heck i didn’t even do it. this was required, and you had to do it like eight times and it was repetitive and annoying.

            1. that’s probably why i said this was the most ridiculous thing, because it was required. did you not read my comment

              1. Just because it’s required doesn’t make it the most ridiculous thing.

The most ridiculous thing in Metal Gear Rising is the VR missions, but that doesnt mean that it isn’t because somebody didn’t play them.

          1. yeah, and it’s about 1/100000000th as bad as the pictograph sidequest

the fact that it exists in the game in the first place with the way that item works is much more stupid than some end-game thing that doesn’t take that long to do

    6. 1. Obviously, bring back the cut content. It’s one the Wind Waker few short comings, which is the lack of dungeons.
      2. Even though it’s not likely, a remastered soundtrack would be great, to go with the remastered visuals. 10 year old synthetic music kinda draws you out of games these days.
      3. The Wind Waker should be able to be used WAY faster, or, give us the ability to change the wind at on the gamepad, on the fly. That was really the main problem with sailing, having to stop and use the Wind Waker, which is slow.
      4. Optional tutorials. This goes for EVERY Zelda from now on, since Skyward Sword got released. On my first playthrough, it was fine, but i ALWAYS go back a revisit my Nintendo games, a few times a year, but i just cant get through Skyward Sword’s tedious design, so please, optional tutorials, although Wind Waker wasn’t that bad.
      5. Maybe more clarification on side missions in the game
      6. More variety in side quests
      7. Make the ocean smaller, about half the size. It’s too big, sailing should be fun, but when it’s just going straight forward, for 5 minutes straight, it feels more like padding the game out.
      8. A time trail mode, a no heart piece mode, or something like that to interact with Miiverse
      9. It’s a long shot, but a Master Quest type new game +

      1. I don’t think the ocean should be smaller, I think they could just make your boat faster instead. It should have a boat speed option or something like that were you tap a button to go slow or fast.

    7. Make the game harder. This game was so easy the first time I finished it on the Gamecube I beat it without dying. How pathetic is that. Because of that I have no interest in this game whatsoever.

    8. Take out the Triforce quest. I don’t care what you add or remove, just take that abomination to game design out.

    9. Make the Islands closer or the boat faster.
Slow Travel == No-No, Really this was the biggest problem I saw in the game.

I loved the art style when it first came out (other people didn’t get it at first), but I found the game pretty boring compared to OoT. I think it was mainly due to that damn sailing thing. I never finished it due to lack of will. Maybe I’ll play it again before the remake comes out to make a more complete judgement.

      Also, maybe better soundtrack.

    10. Make use of the tingle tuner
      make wind directional changing easier
      add more warp locales
      (maybe some voice acting)
more dungeons (add maps to locate secrete dungeons), or add them in a new game +

    11. Wtf lol…They want requests now? Man whatever. Yeah i have a request…Replace this HD remake with Twilight Princess/Something adult orientated HD remake. Their kids games and remakes of kids games aren’t going to usher in a next gen era for Nintendo.

    12. -Improvements in the music (more epic!).
      -Extended Map (more land)
      -Extention of Hyrule (bigger Hyrule!)
-Wii U Island (and forget the GCN island!)
      -Faster boat (Faster!!!)
-Master quest (we all love that!)
-Wii mote control use for the wind waker, hopefully will be included with the disk as a bonus?
-Hardcore mode (yes, one hit= 4 hearts down!)
-More side quests or bonus areas!.
      -More creepy monsters.

    13. As much as just seeing this game in HD will be awesome as it is, I’d like to see some extra dungeons and side-quests. Wind Waker is such a fantastic game, it’s hard to think of what I’d like this HD version to have. But…..it would be cool if they could add something different to the story. Like, some extra cinemas or story that wasn’t in the Gamecube version.

    14. Nintendo, nuff said

How about if instead the tingle tuner is a 3ds and maybe another player can assist the player using the 3ds to give them potions or collect itesms

      1. Yeah, the Tingle Tuner will most likely be replaced by something else, since that only worked with a Game Boy Advance. The 3DS (or just the Wii U Game Pad) is highly possible.

    15. Mmmmm…what would I like in the new Zelda: Wind Waker HD for Wii U? Let’s see: maybe have a split screen option to play some parts of the game like when playing mini games. That’s my thought.

And I want to say that the Wind Waker is one of my fav games.

    16. I would so get this even more if they added at least a new dungeon..

I want a new dungeon or more than one (Better :D)
And what some others suggested.. Cut content to come back. :P
And maybe more land out there…
      Of course, more quests. :)

    17. I think we should all ask for the content they dummied in the original release (The Greatfish dungeon, the triforce dungeon and all that stuff).

    18. Have the Gamecube Island in it like they were planing to do, have more side quest and have a master quest version as completing the game with link in his pj’s

    19. please, don’t cut anything from the big blue awesome ocean, I loved to explore the sea, even when nothing was ahead it was really enjoyable. I don’t know why people want to “sail faster”… that is pointless and it would ruin my favorite zelda game for sure. Add some new content, and makes the picto camera quest less painfull like, recognizing well the characters. awesome.

      1. This, sailing was one of the best things in WW. If you disliked it you probably had the attention span of a weasel and an inability to appreciate good atmosphere. There was nothing nicer than sailing at night time and seeing morning slowly come.

        1. I hope they leave the sailing how it is! I totally agree with you! It wasn’t a chore, it was an adventure!

        1. I appreciate your comment, It was very meanful when you finally got to an island and discovered a secret cavern with monsters and things to do, I miss this game so much, can’t wait.

          1. yes, this is exactly why i didnt like TP and SS, they are just missing so many things great about zelda. im hoping the new zelda can have this kind of thing, more to it. instead of just linear nothing to do besides go through the game. put in side stuff like MM and WW did and not just try to recapture oot. to many people want the same zelda but never want the great ideas that nintendo can do if they want to.

            1. linear nothing to do? have you even played this games? they are masterpieces and have just enough things to do, without withdrawing you from the main story. you can have your opinion or you can say that you didnt do all there was to do or you couldnt find the extras, but dont present BS as facts

    20. DarklordNintendoFan

I already have the game on pre-order… but if they added extra content… good lord, that would just make this already amazing adventure even more amazing. Add the cut content that never made it into the original game. Add new enemies. Make the land even bigger. Allow us to explore more of Hyrule than we got to in the original. Orchestrate all of the music! Imagine the awesome soundtrack from the Wind Waker… but orchestrated… that would just be awesome.

    21. ya i loved wind waker and the big ass ocean xD i wish it was bigger i would try to off the map and the boat tell me to turn back because its dangerous lol i want to go over their because its dangerous i want to fight stronger enemies :D

    22. Pingback: Nintendo asking what fans desire to be added on in the new Wind Waker HD Game?

    23. I’d like to see the gamepad used as a tingle tuner. I found that aspect of the game fun. Sure it was a portable shop but I liked it

    24. GGGGGGAAAAAMMMMMEEEEECCCCCUUUUUBBBBBEEEEE ISLAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, more sidequests, morw stuff on the sea and 60fps.

    25. right im going to be the mature one

i want gamepad controls with tactile screen in real time and a wii remote and chuck option like twilight princess and the ability to play like that whilst still having the gamepad as tactile screen

1080p please not that important but still new levels /dungons etc bits that were missing the first time new content and gameplay

oh both wii remote and touch screen music making gay thingy too

    26. That camera that allows you to take pictures of enemies and have them turned into figures was pretty cool (although pointless). But getting back to that island just to do it was a pain in the arse. There should be an easier and quicker way to get back to that island. Also, there should be an important point to collecting every single figurine. Like an important unlocked mode or something.

      1. I just thought of something else. In the second quest that you can play after defeating Ganon, I think there should be a different ending and stuff when you reach the last of the game again. I always hated the way some Zelda games had a second quest, but nothing much was changed. I don’t like games that don’t reward the player with something super special for completing major tasks.

      2. WW wast a great and fun game. it was truly a cool game where you can do a ton of stuff in the world and explore. i want another MM or windwaker zelda where nintendo does something great instead of trying to recapture oot like TP and SS

          1. got them both you little bitch and i enjoyed xenoblade chrono trigger and secret of mana way more. now run along you stupid sheep. i dont devote my life on one thing and my mom? haha stfu you defensive little shit.

    27. I will probably be hated for this but her is what I want :
REMOVE THE DAMN FUCKING BIG OCTOS . I mean it , they were freaking annoying . Not to mention that soundtrack .

      1. If you’re talking about those giant squid/octopi that comes out suddenly and you have to shoot the eyes all over them, are you CRAZY? Those are some of the coolest enemies in the game. Not to mention scary. The first time I encountered one of those, it scared the absolute HELL out of me.

    28. I can’t believe no one mentioned this……..

      GIVE US NIGHT MUSIC.

Daytime had wonderful music, but nighttime was dead silent save for the crashing of the waves.
I want to see what they can do for some night-time music in WW.

Give us a way of quick-switching the wind direction when sailing [preferably via the game pad] and give us an optional way of going much faster.
      Yes, OPTIONAL.
Some people enjoy the lengthy sailing, so give us a bigger sail to earn in the game that would catch more wind, preferably earned via a side-quest very early on in the game, that doesn’t replace the smaller one when earned.
That way those who like fast can go for the better sail, while those that like the longer sailing can just keep on using the smaller sail even if they earn the bigger one.

Make the Treasure Lights that mark seabed chests a LOT bigger.
Having to get almost literally right on top of those tiny lights was incredibly annoying.

Get rid of the Triforce Piece hunt and instead incorporate the pieces into two new dungeons, preferably by bringing back a couple of the cut dungeons to house them.

Let us explore the underwater land of Hyrule more.
Heck, make an “After Game” that would allow us to go below the waves somehow to explore the many caves and valleys down there around Hyrule Castle, preferably with hidden, super-difficult bosses to find and conquer for unique new rewards. The “After Game” would be separate from the New Game+.

Give us more enemies and items to find on the various islands and more reasons to revisit them after beating the game. There were a lot of islands but so many of them felt barren and not worth revisiting after we cleared the game and reloaded our save file.
The one exception was the Shark Island, since, you know, smacking miniblins around with the Giant’s Hammer was an amusing diversion.XD
We need more things to do on the many different islands, even if it’s just repeatable mini-games or battles.

Kill off the snot-kid on the beginning island.
Seriously, just drown him or something.
Or at least have his mother wipe his face.XD

      1. I personally don’t want night time music. I like the noise of the crashing waves. But that’s just me.

    29. Don’t bring any difficulty options, that would just departure heavily from the genre. Make the game more difficult the longer in the game or make the 2nd run a hard run.

Don’t change the sailing, it was great in the first game, instead make more warp points.

Let the wiimote and nunchuck be the main controller, it’s perfect for the Wind Waker and sword fighting. Use the gamepad for the Tingle Turner and make Tingle a more active co-op player. And while not using the Tingle Tuner let the options screens be on the gamepad with easy touch controls to change weapons etc. without needing to pause the game.

Other things I want with Zelda games is to make the rupees and items harder to get by. You rarely lack anything in Zelda games, that needs to change.

      1. Making the rupees and items harder to come by would just pad the game with artificial difficulty, so no to that.
Let the game pad be the main controller and the Wii/chuck be a secondary option, with the Classic Pro being yet a third.

    30. I don’t think they should make sailing more fun since I think it’s fine the way it is~ I am not sure how it could be made more fun without ruining the sailing feeling. In fact, perhaps with the updated graphics would make the sailing experience more fun?

Anyhow, my major want for this game is to add the content that was cut off. For those who played Wind Waker on the GameCube, it gives them more of a reason to purchase this game due to it having more and new adventure to it. Alongside with its beautiful graphics.

    31. Pingback: Nintendo quiere saber qué mejoras incluirías en The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, citando algunas propuestas de fans | www.nextn.net

    32. -Option to shoot with gyroscope.
-Ability to switch targets without repressing the lock-on button.
      -Multi-controller support.
      That’s about it.
Shooting with the gyroscope in OOT 3D was one of the more convenient things about the game.

      1. -Also one final dungeon that you’re only given access to if you’re maxed out. Sort of like an extra dungeon. It gives us a reason to collect everything and gives a goal at postgame.

    33. PikminDon'tDoMushrooms

I want more content, such as some new dungeons, I also want sailing to feel more fun and less like a chore.

    34. Can they add in those other islands that were supposedly “cut.” Like the one in the shape of a Gamecube. I’d like that. Also, maybe they could add an achievement system built into the game. Or come out with a Nintendo downloadable app that works with the game. 💋

    35. I think we’re supposed to put these ideas in the Legend Of Zelda Miiverse community (If you got a Wii U already). I don’t think they’ll come here to see our opinions. Maybe, maybe not. The point is they’re more likely to listen to us there. Where else can we go? YouTube?

    36. Do I even have to point out that this “press release” obviously is fake? Nintendo would never describe a Zelda game as “a chore” or “repetitive” and most certainly never comment and/or confirm fan speculation and rumours. The folks at Oprainfall have probably created this article themselves to gain publicity.

Just take this excerpt as an example of how weird the article is:

“Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto, who’s had a hand in the development of many popular Nintendo games with the exception of the Professor Layton series, has offered a few hints as to what we can expect from the new Wind Waker when it finally arrives. He told the ABC news network that HD capabilities of the Wii U will be able to “breathe new life” into the game, and also hinted that the game will have upgraded graphics, along with enhance lighting, better cel shading and overall, a more dynamic and vibrant look.”

Professor Layton is NOT a “Nintendo game”, it’s a third party game from Level-5 published by Nintendo in certain regions. They would likely never comment on what Miyamoto said to ABC or any other media. Overall the article puts the original Wind Waker in a very bad light. That is very bad PR. Nintendo’s PR department is smart enough to market the remake and its improvements over the first game without making it sound like the original Wind Waker has a gazillion of flaws. In comparison to Nintendo UK’s regular press releases this one has a very amateurish tone to it.

    37. how about a new fucking game not some stupid hd remake of a idiotic game that looks like miyamoto barfed his sushi all over the screen

    38. I’d like something multiplayer related. A Co-Op of some sort maybe. The Tingle Tuner was okay I guess, but I think they could do something that gets the 2nd player more involved. (And at the same time, not waste rupees.)

    39. What I wish for this game is the ability to switch between the new hd graphics and the original toon shading that made Wind Waker so famous. A harder mode would alse be welcomed.

    40. This is a little bit out there, but make some sort of multiplayer! For example maybe when you beat the game you can do boss battles with your friends! And maybe go through dungeons too!

      1. I think you should be able to free roam over the whole land with 4 other people (the four swords colors) and be able to treasure hunt and do side quests ect.

    41. I want them to add items to function like they do in Batman Arkham City. Like using motion controls to move the boomerang, but if they do that PLEASE make better motion controls then Batman. I would also like to see the map of the open seas on the Wii U gamepad when playing on TV. Miiverse is something I don’t actually like in my games. When you die I don’t want to see a random scribble saying “Swagg yolo 429.” Yes. That has happened to me before. If they add an option to turn it off I guess it would be ok. Like some people said a pictobox upgrade would be AWESOME! Like using the motion controls on Wii U street and being able to share your pictures on Miiverse would be cool. But by the time this game comes around my whole Wii U will most likely be banned from Miiverse… I definitely Want the extra dungeons. New difficultys would be sweet. Make the treasure hunting like the one you made in Phantom Hourglass. I loved that mini game. I can’t think of what else I want right now soooooo…. Have an awesome day.

    42. I would like to see a new section of the great sea that is revealed, perhaps in the New Story + mode. They could even throw in some homages to SS, now that we have a little more background about Hyrule. Personally, I enjoyed the taxing effort of sailing the Great Sea. It added a certain adventurous feel to it, like you were actually going somewhere, and I loved that as you sailed, you could randomly come across a ghost ship or an outpost. I think it would be cool if they added more sea traffic. A couple more boats, perhaps, that you could interact with.

    43. I would like
*More sidequests(SS had not that much)
*Some extra content(a new dungeon or somethign that was not in the original one)
      *Real orchesta music

Out of that, anything from the original is OK

      1. Ohh and DIfferent level selects:
        Easy fro pussies
        Normal(usual game play)
Hard: more damage dealt to Link and less damage dealt to opponents
Master Quest: Hard mode syle with more difficult dungeons, quests and Mirror Maps

    44. Harder difficulty and do SOMETHING to fix the endless boring sailing and make it FAR less tedious, and I am good. The sailing part truly is a must. Its one of those things that can keep you from coming back and playing a game ever again even if it was awesome otherwise.

    45. Remove the invincibility mode mapped to the “R” button (Shield), and put a shield mode instead. Also, increase the difficulty and enemy variety on the game, the damage taken, and also reduce the damage given to enemies. Orchestrate everything, and PLEASE, make the bosses really challenging. This or I won’t be spending my money on it. I won’t buy this game for the graphics alone.

    46. Make us able to choose the pro controller and shut off the gamepad. Other than that the usual wishes – lots of sidequests and a good story :) Dont really care too much about the visuals in this one, but in the new Zelda I hope they bring good graphics with lots of realism, Twilight Princess style.

    47. I want new dungeons to replace the battle grind fests you need to do to get some of the triforce charts. an easy to access map system on the gamepad screen. pro controller mode and a dungeon for the water pearl (forgot exact what it’s called). also a hard mode for beating the game normally would be nice

    49. Just bring back the content that was cut from the original game and expand upon it, Make it rewarding for the player to travel across the open sea. How about you get sucked under water into the layer of some past boss’s mini-dungeon and have to escape by defeating it in battle, something along those lines. It beats fighting giant Octoroks!. Somebody had mentioned more exploration of the world under the sea so that would certainly scratch that itch., More side quests and hidden treasures, nothing cheesy like cameos by mario, link or whatever, please KILL Mr. Tingle.

The only other thing I can think of is:
For Nintendo to do a remake of Majora’s Mask for the Wii-U with more dungeons and more story… would totally love that. I don’t speak for the rest of the fanbase but this is what I would love to see as a fan. :)

    50. Well obviously we need…

      1. Map on GamePad.
      2. Be able to easily select items.

      And maybe…

      1. Display the notes played on the Wind Waker on the GamePad screen.

    51. Make getting the triforce more fun like having dungeons and mini bosses for each piece not buying it for a ridiculous price from tingle

    52. it took me a month to gather all the rupees for tingles triforce chart but i did enjoy the trifoce quest but i would prefer 2 or 3 dungeons to get the triforce instead of finding it. but if they cannot do that at least lower tingles price.

    53. Totally reinvent it!!!, at least in the dungeons, give some new enemies and more interesting islands that really makes us explore them, even new weapons or reinvent the ones already existing, adding new features for example for the grapling hook (maybe similar to the ds games grapling hook for example), better sidequests!!! not just ignore them to get into our location, makes sea storms that make hard waves that require ability to go through, give us a brave but funny ocean that makes us sail for fun… Don´t make the same game because if that´s it i´ll just use my original wind waker instead of wasting 100 bucks
