Namco Bandai has announced via Twitter that it is bringing Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse Party to Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS. The publisher also announced that it is bringing Monster High 13 Wishes to Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS, along with Young Justice Legacy on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. I know it’s the announcement that you have all been waiting for, so please try to contain your excitement.

Was really looking forward to Young Justice Legacy, but the WiiU version isn’t being released in Australia (only 360,PS3 and 3DS). It’s like the fifth or sixth WiiU game not released in AUS….DAMN IT import here i come.
The sad thing is that these are all properties with huge potential to be awesome games! Monster High and Young Justice practically write themselves, and Barbie’s been around so long you could build a game on her legacy alone, Epic Barbie or Barbie Generations or something. But the publishers never seem to aim high enough to get reviewed at all, let alone get significant ratings on Metacritic.

Namco Bandai is publishing Young Justice in Europe. As for Barbie, what the hell? Has Namco Bandai forgotten who the Wii U’s target audience is?
PS2 had a few Barbie games. Most consoles get barbie games except Microsoft consoles. It’s not because Xbox consoles are too hardcore for Barbie but it’s because most girls don’t own an Xbox, they buy either Playstation or Nintendo consoles.
My point is, that Wii U is not a casual console but a Barbie game will sell on the Wii U because parents will buy Wii U’s for their little girls
