Nintendo has announced via the newly opened E3 site that its Nintendo Direct will be one hour-long. The Wii U focussed Nintendo Direct which takes place on June 11th begins at 7am PT and is bound to include a number of highly anticipated games including Mario 3D, Mario Kart U, and Wind Waker HD. As always, we will be covering the Nintendo Direct as it happens.

We already know about all the games you listed except the Mario Party if you’re talking about them making one for Wii U. Also you don’t know if there are any unannouced third parties. Oh and I have to admit that’s pretty funny! lol
Lego City: Undercover was released a while ago, Mario Party was announced for the 3DS, not Wii U. They’ve also given us some hints at what other games we’ll see, such as Zelda, Wonderful 101, Super Mario and Mario Kart, and maybe Smash Bros.

And we might see something from Sonic: Lost World as well as some other suprises.

No 3rd parties games? Why on earth would Nintendo waste time showing third party games at an E3 which are also available on other platforms? At an E3 the company shows consumers why they should purchase their product. As your dumb ass saw that 3Rd party games did not sell the Wii U. Why would Nintendo brag about Watch Dogs or COD Ghost?

Well they are announcing a few games that we’ve not seen anything of before (Mario Kart, Mario 3D, Smash Brothers) so even seeing some footage from those games alone will make me happy.

Consoles are primarily for gaming and so far, Nintendo seems set on demonstrating that for E3. Sony, maybe, Xbox, hard to convince me, but still, good luck nonetheless.
No, it’s just that we’ve seen so many games announced in Nintendo Directs recently that I’m just afraid we’ll hear most about things that have already been announced. Not necessarily a bad thing, I just hope we get a lot of great info about Retro’s title, Smash Bros., etc. They have time, so we’ll see.
My friend they already did that last Direct. They got all the known releases out of the way. Bill Trinnan said that via twitter, the E3 will be everything that isn’t announced.

I wouldn’t worry too much, they’ve been keeping Wii U info secret for so long there has to be a lot at E3.
I predict certain games will have a trailer and one minute of additional info, so I believe they’ll have plenty of time.
And here I was worry they’d take the usual 30 minutes and show like…4 games.
That should not be a problem, since their will be several Nintendo Directs around the time of E3.

Actually he’s right. Out of the three next gen consoles, the X-Box One doesn’t look or sound appealing at all. It looks like a VCR mixed with a 360, which looks much worse than an Xbox 360 IMO. Not to mentioned they are finishing another classic Rare title to botch like what happened to Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark. When’s the last time since they made a new IP (Which they didn’t announce like Sony did for the PS4) other than those Kinect games anyway? Looks like I will only own 2 of the 3 consoles this generation.

Usually E3 is pretty much the same time but they have a lot of room to put out game content for us then worry about the middle man (spec and financial) crap and only primary focus on games.

Well you know as well as I that the brand wars have always existed – I remember Spectrum vs Amstrad vs Commodore!
But for me, where the games on those new systems fall down is that they are too cinematic and not enough about the gameplay or the challenge. Nintendo still seem to like old-school games and that’s why I favour them.

That’s exactly how I feel about video games! I wasn’t born in the 80s but in the very late 90s (1999) and I played a lot of Nintendo’s old games and I realized that you don’t need cinematic cutscenes or violence in a video game to have fun! When we got to the gaming generation 7 every thing changed! And every thing was just shooting, gore, and cinematic cutscenes! But Nintendo still stayed the same with Mario, Zelda, Kirby, etc. I’d rather play New Super Mario Bros U than Uncharted! Because that’s the way I like my games and I can have fun those type of games!
Don’t get me wrong, I loved Mortal Kombat in the arcades, a game known for it’s gore! But then, I was about 14 years old at the time…
For me, gore doesn’t bother me. Shooting (or any violence) doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is when a game has no gameplay, only cutscenes, and you feel like you’re just there to press the appropriate controls to move the movie along!
Yeah like in The Walking Dead, Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. I mean I think these are great games but I’d rather play real games than these movies.
Another thing that those games (and a lot of others) seem to be lacking is FUN. I remember playing 2 player games on the Spectrum, Master System, Megadrive (Genesis), Snes and so on, but a lot of games these days are either single-player or online multiplayer. I’d rather just play with one or two mates sat around my TV and always have – there is more of an experience that way. This is where, in my opinion, Nintendo come into their own. They still make games the old-school way, and that’s just how I like it.
Yes I know exactly how you feel. The only thing that keeps you playing a game like The Walking Dead and not quiting is the story. I mean I have a PS3 and 2 controllers but there aren’t much games that are multiplayer to have fun with.
I hope they announce some surprises and not only focus on Mario and Zelda. That would be too less for competing in E3 with the new other consoles.

Nintendo would like you to buy one of those consoles along side thier own actually. WiiU + PS4 or Wiiu + Xbox One or all three even. They want you to experience the gaming industry and not just a single path.

Actually Gamexplain was in contact with Nintendo via Twitter. They told him the Wii U Direct would be an hour and a half. Then a Pokemon X and Y Direct with Q&A in the same day.
Too bad that guy speaks so slow, that his 1 hour presentation could be done in 15 minutes…

i want to see games that require two Gamepads as well as the secret port underneath the gamepad. I also want to know the new features that these games will have because of the gamepad. I also want to know and hope we get new IPs.

What you mean by a Zapper? They said at the last Direct they will explain what that port does. Also I want to know how Rayman Legends responds to that NFC technology where a toy can be placed on the Gamepad and then appears in the game. There are a lot of features the Wii U can do besides play HD with an explained powerful GPU.

This is Nintendo. You don’t really think all that port does is for a zapper? This is Nintendo known for holding secrets longer than Sony and Microsoft. Like I said before, Iwanta promised he was going to reveal the port on the Gamepad at next Nintendo Direct. It does more than just a zapper port.
After all the port for the N64 Controller was not just for the rumble pak. Yet we did not know that until Pokemon Stadium arrived.
He, nor I, said it was just for a Zapper (if you don’t know what a Zapper is, you didn’t play the NES or Wii).The port is for accessories (what ever they may be) ect. There is a Wii U Gamepad Virtual Tour video on Nintendo’s Youtube channel that states this.
i also want them to explain the next big update this summer. Lastly, I want to know about the all new Wii U above the deluxe version.
In this update, as part of the year of luigi, whilst playing a game, luigi will jump infront of the camera and start dancing. This update is Mandatory, nothing will work other than settings untill you download this update.
Also the Mic on the gamepad. it also responds ehen you blow at it. There is no telling if the Mic will be used in Zelda, Mario or another Wii U game like Lost Worlds. The Gamepad is filled with playable features that has not even been experienced on current games yet. This console will be around for another six years. During those six years is no telling what Wii U can do. Nintendo TVii is not even at its full potential.
I remeber at last years E3, Nintnedo revealed Wii Fit U. If someone holds the Gamepad it will tell you your BMI. This thing in the future activate your cable provider’s DVR.
