When you start the game for the first time, you don’t see your character until you’ve answered a bunch of questions posed by a chatty cat named Rover. In this game you can change your eye color though. So the only thing that really matters is the eye shape.

Yes, you can. And you can change the color as well. And you’re able to get the other gender’s hairstyles too.

It will only affect your appearance so you don’t have to worry.
I like the first one. It’s just classic and cute.
I’ve never been too fond of the face design for the AC games. There’s just… something about how the characters’ eyes are stuck perpetually looking left that bothers me. Yes, I know there are straight-ahead-looking eyes, but there are too few, imo.
