Game Freak has announced a new type of Pokémon battle debuting in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Sky Battles will be featured in the upcoming games. Select Pokémon Trainers that players encounter will challenge them to battles that take place above ground. Players can only participate in Sky Battles if they have certain Pokémon in their party that can fly. According to Game Freak, the “Sky Battle is a visually stunning battle scenario and an exciting new addition to Pokémon video games.”
Game Freak has also announced Horde Encounters, where the player wields only a single Pokémon while battling against multiple wild Pokémon that attack simultaneously. Game Freak says, “Players will need to ensure their Pokémon has moves that can attack multiple Pokémon at once or they may quickly find themselves on the losing end of the battle.”
Watch the above trailer to witness the new type of battle and encounter. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will launch worldwide on October 12th, exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
They also announced horde battles.

Don Mattrick has just announced that if you don’t want an xbox that is always online, people can always buy an xbox360. Really microsoft lol. Two Next generation Consoles the Wii U and PS4 can be played offline anytime :).
Well…but only Wii U has FREE ONLINE. PS4 may not be ALWAYS online…butyou do have to PAY for online now.

Bitch plase, PS Plus is a RIPOFF. It’s like paying for Xbox LAG, but hey. PS Plus for PS3 was OPTIONAL. I had to buy a PS3 3 years ago because PSN was FREE. SONY didn’t have to force us to get PS Plus for PS3 which was a good thing because PS Plus was a WASTE OF MONEY! I stopped playing online multiplayer back in July because I don’t have time to play it anymore. I still have my PS3 but I don’t play it that much anymore. I made a mistake buying a 360 but I gladly sold it. But, still…… I own a Wii and a PS3. I’m not going to buy a Wii U or PS4 but I’m still NOT going to buy Xbox One. I haven’t bought a PS3 game since December 2010 because NONE of today’s games interest me…… I heard there’s ALOT of people BOYCOTTING the Xbox One already and jumping ship to the PS4. Who still has PS3? Are you going to buy PS4? No next-gen for me! I’m going straight! No I don’t buy PC games anymore because you CAN’T sell PC games at all due to CD keys. You see, I’m a retro gamer now. Now I’m stuck to playing older games pre-2002.
