Soul Saga, the Kickstarter backed title that is influenced by a number of classic Japanese role-playing games, has been funded and will be coming to Wii U. Soul Saga reached its stretch goals and raised $89,541, which means the game will come to Wii U, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The developers say that they can not wait to take advantage of the Wii U’s intuitive controller. The project still has fifteen days to go.
Thanks to everyone that sent this in.
First
Shut up.
Cool
First?
Indi kickstarter garbage! LOL KIDTENDO! ITS GONNA BE BETTER ON PLAYSTATION ANYWAY! Like it always will :)
Nice to know but, how bout you tell your “Playstation” friends.
Oooh look, a Playstation fanboy, making fun of another console :o can I have your autograph?!
Ignoring that the indie developer wants to reall work the GamePad yet said nothing about how excited they were on the Vita being a controller for the PS4.
When will you grow up? You’re not embarrassing anyone here, or at Nintendo, but yourself.
I pity you.
Kirby: “Well here comes another motherfucker!”
another great collection for my wii device eh..
That art style has some serious hype potential.
cool. any jrpg is welcomed on the wiiu.
I’m so sick of these stories “this indie game announced for Wii U, that indie game announced for Wii U” we need games now, I mean these stories aren’t even giving us vuage release dates. God knows when we’ll actually see them.
Rush a game and break Nintendo’s tradition of coming from 9/10 to rated a 1/10. That makes perfect sense.
Why would have a release date for a game that is still in it’s kickstarter stage? That’s extremely early in development.
Ignoring what Iwata just said on the very next article on after this one.
It’s planned to come out a year from now or so, it seems.
Cool! I can’t wait to see what innovative ideas that they come up with for the controller also!
Let me get this right. Wii U is not getting the 3rd party support because of its sales. Yet this developer rather waste money making it on Vita over the 3DS. Interesting.
Not just any money. The funders’ money XD
Look at the donations; a lot of the people who donated wanted it on Vita and PS4. Many devs have stated that both systems are very easy to develop for and considerably inexpensive to do so as well.
It’s “very easy” to port stuff onto the PS4 and Vita. Not as easy putting it on the 3DS. It wont cost anything awfully extra to port the game itself as he’ll be coding it by himself.
It’s a pretty cheap game (I AM NOT HATING!!!!!) if it costs only ~90000$ to develop.
That’s because there will only be one guy programming. The guy worked for Microsoft and knows how to code everything himself.
Really? That´s a very talented guy then! NINTENDO HIRE HIM FOR ONE OF YOUR AMERICAN DEVELOPER STUDIOS! lol
I’m glad! The Wii U could use more jrpgs! 💋
Lol @ indie garbage its gonna be better on ps4
The battle for RPGs between the WiiU and PS4 has started. Look at how the rpg makers are ignoring the xboxdone. This generation FPS are taking a side seat, watch and observe.

I really like how PS faboys are getting butthurt over a JRPG.
They’re already sore that they couldn’t get X to come alongside FF and KH III, too, so this is just another bruise to their behinds.XD
looks cute
Looks pretty fun. I’ll probably pass since I only buy retail games, but It’s always good to see a kickstarter game make it into the big leagues. Way to go guys!
I’ll admit that it looks pretty interesting in that one screenshot. But if the battle system is anything like the one in Tales Of Symphonia, I’ll hate it. (- _ -)
Looking forward to this. I miss turn based battles in RPG’s. Cant stand the newer battle systems in newer ff games.
Creating new JRPGs now is kinda like trying to outdo sliced bread, man. As in, impossible, pointless, and a total waste of time.
Well this is one game I will be definitely getting then…….
