PES 2014 Is Actually Coming To Nintendo 3DS

pes_2014

Last month, a Pro Evolution Soccer European community manager claimed that PES 2014 won’t be releasing on Nintendo 3DS, due to poor sales of the hand-held console’s version of PES 2013. Well, it turns out a Nintendo 3DS version of the upcoming soccer simulation game is in the works. Also known as Winning Eleven 2014, PES 2014 is scheduled to arrive on Nintendo 3DS in Japan – alongside the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable versions of the game – in the fall. Whether the Nintendo 3DS version will be released outside the country has yet to be confirmed by the game’s publisher, Konami.

    1. PES is good too.

I’m not sure if the 3DS version (or PSP version for that matter) will be reaching the West though.

The last press release I got on the game (Thursday) said the following:

“Today, Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. has announced the eagerly-awaited Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2014 will be available in retail stores nationwide in North, Central and South America on September 24, 2013 for PlayStation®3 and Xbox®360.”

No news on any other platforms.

  3. I like how many games that were not coming to Wii U and 3DS two months ago suddenly are again.

I would never buy this but then I have no doubt there’s a market for this game on the 3DS. Can’t say the same for the PSP, and I don’t know whose bright idea that is.

    1. except that pes is shit compared to fifa ??? Yes better graphics on pes but the gameplay ?? Fifa wins no doubt . Yep we need ea in some games .
P.S the previous comment is an opinion of the writer any thing says otherwise is completely bullshit

      1. You call the previous comment an opinion when you yourself just gave me your own opinion. I think you are confusing overhyped games (Fifa, because it’s… EA!!) with games that are pushed into the shadows (PES, because no one has ever heard of it..). 💋
