The latest edition of Japanese gaming publication Famitsu states that Monster Hunter Frontier G will be coming to the Wii U. The game will play the same as the already released Xbox 360 and PC versions, but it will be hosted on different servers. Monster Hunter Frontier G will be a free game on the Wii U eShop and PSN. Alternatively, gamers can purchase a beginners package for 6,090 yen. The monthly fee is 1,600 yen per month. Monster Hunter Frontier G is compatible with the Wii U Pro Controller, but not with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
Thanks, Angelixshadow and Simply G
Bring it to America!!!!
If I wanted it, I’d get it on my 360, who would buy it for the Wii U?
You first have to learn Japanese and buy then a X360 from Japan ^^’
This game is just in Japan, where even now I think the Wii U is selling even better than X360…
The same people that enjoyed playing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U and those who find second-screen functionality to be an awesome thing while gaming… in other words, nearly everyone except you.
because it has better hardware than an Xbox 360 duh
I would buy it for the Wii U. If I wanted it. I hate the Xbox.
Fortunately it’s coming to REAL consoles now unlike your Xblocks 69…
I will if its comes to us. First I like to cut the tail, then I start on the next thing to break, the I start nailing the head…if I kill it, I lick it blood from its corps after I carve it. Mmmmmm, tasty!
If you wanted 360 news go to myxboxone.com remember where you are ?
Dude, just get it on PS3, its region free, Xbox is Region Locked, u’d spend 200+ for a JP 360?
MH…on Xbox? The Xbox community has no interest in MH.
first :D
Europe?
The Mayhem BEGINS!!! (in Japan)
Reblogged this on Gamer's PoundKE.
Nintendo is so smart and I now know why that’s there focus. Brilliant.
can some one explain what this game is like, i mean is it just monthly fees for an online game or what!!!!!! help me!!!!!
you download the game for free from the PSN or Eshop but you will then be charged for a monthly fee to play the game

Heh heh HE HA HA HAA! YOU MADE MY DAY WONDERFUL NINTENDO, now bring it to the u.s. I CAN’T WAIT!!!
No thanks. I’m not interested in games that require monthly fees to play.
You can play it without playing :P just not with everything
SOUND GOOD BUT WARE ARE RELEASED IN THE USA HOPE IT COMING SOON
Even though this is Japan only right now, I think I would give it a miss if it came to the UK.
I thoroughly enjoyed all 320 hours of 3Ultimate, but FrontierG looks to be just as last gen as that game.
What I WOULD appreciate is, the China only, MH Online. That looks very impressive.
im shocked……..because yesterday on a video I was like “I wish they would release the Monster Hunter online game on the wiiU” and then I see news of this. I REALLY hope it comes to america. but im confused, if its free to play, then why does it have monthly charges?
Alas, it’s not MH Online.
true but its a decent substitute if it comes to america. they might as well make cards for membership like XBLive, but then again over 20 dollars a month to play MH? thats reeeeeeally pricey
Monthly fee? Psh, no thank you. I’ll just wait for MH4.
Sweet! I love Monster Hunter.
