Mostly this was part of the reason. The activisions forrums where full with people asking about the bonus and the way they handle it secured that black ops 2 did that bad.
And also gimping the game itself without telling anyone in advance which robbed people like me and got them to say no. Don’t buy the Wii U version. Plus that it was launched later and it wasn’t advertised or mentioned via media for Wii U..at all.
And then they grow the damn stupidity to say it didn’t sell well because its Nintendo and we’re not giving DLC even though they promised that shit from the back of the game’s case “Miiverse, Voice Chat and In-Game content (DLC)” which the last part was never there and should be considered False advertisement which equals lawsuit.
… and on that day .. all the ”CoD on Wii U” haters died instantly.

The special edition is just a bundle of the game, with a custom RC toy and early DLCs that you can get later for $100-$120 more which is pointless unless you want the damn RC toy included thats gonna get shelved quickly anyway.

And with Treyarch behind this, it should be great. Got my copy on Pre-order. Looks like I’ll have two killer 3rd party games in Nov (CoD:G, and Watch Dogs). Then the Nintendo 1st party games coming out between now and next spring……. Looks like my tradition of buying the new consoles 8-12 months from release date continues to pay off.

Didn’t this happen last year with Black Ops 2. It said if you preorder it you will get Nuketown 2025 but didn’t end up happening.
I didn’t forget that either and that’s why I’m waiting to see what happens just weeks before the Wii U version launches. I’m telling ya, I feel every 3rd party is after and lusting for Wii U’s destruction by gimping games and turning people away from the console. If you have been paying attention lately, third parties are crawling back to the WiiU. We knew they would. Initially they will not add all features to their games to try and show their muscles, but cometh X and Mario Kart, and they will have no choice but to release full games with total online offline modes lol.
Really? Look at Ubiliars when they didn’t include offline for Blacklist. Look at WB’s Batman Arkham Origins with no online multiplayer. Look at..again, Ubiliars delaying Rayman Legends for a year from Wii U’s launch title plan over some skepticism BS. Look at EA and other developers dicking away with blind hate messages about Wii U because it didn’t appeal to their power-lusting whore hunger or saying no to “Origins” which is a goddamn terrible spyware-operated social medium that everyone hates. Look at Capcom not porting Ultra Street Fighter 4 to Wii U and their lame ass excuse on top of millions of others from various companies disapproving Nintendo because its not a PS4/Xbox One.
3rd party crawling back when Wii U sold 4 million (even though its a decent number for a newly launch console? Thats a long shot. The only reliable and strong 3rd party partners I see is Sega and Disney. Everyone else can happily suck PS4/Xbox “DOne”‘s computerized dicks while they’re supporting a console with zero install base and weaker software launch. I suggest you wait on the Wii U because as I just learned, they did the same thing with BO2’s Nuketown promotion and just weeks before Wii U’s launch, they quietly pulled the promotional map and the website demonstrating it just a lot like Ubi..liars pulling Rayman from its original launch date with Wii U just so they can hinder Wii U’s chance of becoming something more than just another gen of gimmicks which that argument is always weak and stupid.
I say don’t buy it or even think about trading anything for it…yet. I recommend renting it first to see what’s missing because you can count on it that something is removed or not included like Elite, some missing modes, 16 (not 18) player max support and especially wait to see if future DLCs will come for Wii U platform.
Wait at least 2-3 months while renting the game to see if those assholes would announce DLCs and full support for Wii U before guaranteeing a buy.
As for me, I’m not buying shit from them anymore after being lied and cheated from BO2. I swear almost all 3rd parties piss me off that I would just say “Fuck it. I’m buying Nintendo games only” if they continue the BS route they’re going.

That’s how much they truly care about you Nintendo fans and I bet your asses that this is gonna be a repeated con art from Black Ops 2’s Wii U Nuketown 2025 “misconception” bullshit. Hold off or cancel from buying the game until their so called “truth” sticks because otherwise, this is BS Wii U hate smeared all over.

Hate to be a debby downer but this isn’t proof that we’re getting DLC. They had the Pre-Order bonus sticker for Black Ops 2 as well and we see how that turned out. We need them to publicly announce DLC for the Wii U. Then ill believe it. The game is still being ported by Treyarch.
Can some one recommend a good headset to for the Wii U. I’ve seen a few at best buy, but I rather have on that’s similar to the 360. I don’t like both my ears covered because of my surround sounds system.
