Konami has officially confirmed that former Nintendo 3DS exclusive Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror Of Fate HD will be coming to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, but won’t be coming to the Wii U eShop. The upgraded version of the Nintendo 3DS release will launch on October 31st. The developer MercurySteam hasn’t announced why the game won’t be appearing on Nintendo’s latest home console, Wii U.

Not impressed. Donkey Kong Country looks like the Wii version in HD. Super Mario 3D World looks the same as the 3DS game and it’s too easy. The Legend of Zelda: WW HD is just a remake. The third party support is pathetic.

I’ve got a Wii U and never play it. Not impressed with the line up so far. Most third party games they are offering are missing features and are at full price. They need games like GTA V on day one. It’s the biggest game of the year and we don’t even know if Nintendo is getting it. It’s not good enough.

I never put all my faith in one console so I really don’t mind that much. The lack if Link might disappoint me slightly but it’s not like I played him much, so oh well.

But nintendo is my home console. *puts hand in pockets with head tilted a little looking at you* I will still defend it but I play others now…or did, lost my PS2 in a freak storm, Brother took his 360 back with him and all the games we had was already on 360 so my ps3 collected dust and was unable to play anything on it, and because of that, I don’t have a user profile on it. All that is left for me is this wii u, and a collection of my fanboy day’s systems which are worth alot more now…like my N64, GBA original, game cube with GBA player all working condition, my wii, an SNES which is still in my previous home, Texas (where my brother is heading back too), and in the sae place, my NES.

Basically what I am saying is these 3rd party companies can’t make money anymore. Their games aren’t selling enough copies on Microsoft and Sony’s consoles. Hence why Square Enix was not proud of the Tomb Raider reboot. But, look at Nintendo, they flourish and they can flourish BY THEMSELVES. Something Microsoft and Sony can’t do. The third parties are afraid they will go out of business. Basically, Nintendo IS putting their foot down. You can join Nintendo and stay afloat as a company and make video games for the Wii U/3DS, or you can suffer financially. Platinum Games is being funded by Nintendo right now, same with SEGA. Monolith Soft was bought by Nintendo. They joined Nintendo to save themselves. If these other 3rd party companies don’t, then they’ll simply go out of business just like the rest of’em. Nintendo has given them an ultimatum…just not directly. The only two companies I can see lasting on their own are EA and Activision, but even they can’t last forever. Something Nintendo can do.

Still, Altus needs either Sega or Nintendo to buy them if they hope to stay in business…I really don’t think xbox should have them if what they did to rareware’s games. They even ruined Conker’s multiplayer mode. That was a sad day for me because I loved the multiplayer mode of the first Conker’s BFD.

Sega is owned by American Sammy which they got bought out by shortly after the Dreamcast. Hudson was bought and dismantled by Konami which is a shell of its former self.
I might buy Castlevania on the 3DS, its an ok game and reminds me of the arcade version they put out in the 80s, but not rushing to anything right now. I have too many games and have my eye on Wonderful 101.

Super Castlevania 4 for the SNES is still my favorite Castlevania game to this day. Starting to get sick of Konami and all there half assed bullshit. Stop with the HD ports and remakes and come out with something to contribute to your franchises.

First Resident Evil Revelations now Castlevania…Can nobody keep their word anymore. Seriously there’s like no honor amongst Devs anymore.
This makes me laugh so freaking hard. I have always hated Mercury Steam after they made Shitvania. I played Mirror of Fate on 3DS and it is awful as all get out. It feels nothing like a true Castlevania game and even if it wasn’t flying under that name it would still be a terrible piece of shit. Mercury Steam shit all over one of my favorite franchises and I hope that one day we will see a return of true Castlevania games and not this Mercury Steam bullshit. Dave Cox needs to go suck his last name.
Honestly, IDC. Mirror of Fate was an ok game at best. Doubt it’s gonna sell well on 369/PS3. It would be ironic though it Colin Moriarty praised the PS3/360 versions after bashing the 3DS version.
You can count on it that he will.raise the score by 2 points just for being HD and on ps3.
It doesn’t really matter. Mirror of Fate is very forgettable. I sold it after completing and collecting everything in 10 hours. I haven’t missed it at all.
I’m looking forward to Lords of Shadow 2 though. I loved the first game and the sequel looks even better!

I bought this game on release date for 3ds. It was nice, music was great in game, story was alright, the game was 10 hours and i finished it 98% in 10 hours. Actually the game also sold horribly on 3ds, it sold something like 100k copies to today
