Armillo For Wii U To Feature Off-TV Play And Multiplayer Co-op

Indie developer Fuzzy Wuzzy Games has announced on their Twitter page that their anticipated action platformer/puzzler Armillo will feature off-TV play on the Wii U gamepad. Not to be outdone with that announcement, they later answered a question about the possibility of multiplayer by confirming that the game will have a co-op mode. Due to their production schedule, however, the multiplayer mode may have to be added later by way of a software update.

Back in January, we reported that Armillo was originally slated for Xbox Live Arcade until Fuzzy Wuzzy bolstered their relationship with Nintendo, deciding to reverse course and release the game for Wii U instead. The news comes in stark contrast to Nicalis’s announcement that their latest fighting game will wind up on PS Vita instead of 3DS. Armillo is the latest of several titles confirmed for the Wii U eShop. Gamers can check out Fuzzy Wuzzy’s teaser site for Armillo here.
