This week’s Japanese sales charts are in courtesy of Media Create. Sadly, it has been a terrible week for the recently released The Wonderful 101. The game only managed to sell a dismal 5.258 copies, placing it at number fourteen in the software charts. Wii U sales have dropped again, this week the console only sold 7,030 units compared to the previous week when it sold 12,047 units. Here’s the Japanese software and hardware top ten.

Well the theme of the game is something that better suits the western market in my opinion. To my knowledge superheroes and comic books aren’t as big in Japan but correct me if I’m wrong.

Nintendo needs to start focusing on online play. If Pikmin has online battle mode. people would be playing that everyday instead of completing it and moving to the next game.
Nintendo doesn’t understand what people really want and how to keep people hooked on their titles. There is a reason by COD is the top seller, people play that game almost all year until the next one. Because being online can continue to bring entertainment. Playing the story mode over and over. Come on…

What? How did you jump to that conclusion? Kevin is explaining that he thinks it would help Nintendo greatly to develop more titles that featured online play. Online play keeps players coming back and is a selling point . Kevin used Call of Duty as an example.

I’ve had it on reserve at GameStop for about 4 months now. Not played the demo because I hate demos but I have wanted to play this game since have first heard about it and have been more excited with every new piece of info on the game.

Example: GameCube. I was laughing when I saw it ranked on the top ten console list by Edge posted a few days ago.

Sad, isn’t it? A dev goes out of their way to create something fresh and innovative, then gamers ignore it. That’s why this corporate gaming industry is becoming so stagnant. Such a cookie-cutter place now.
I’m going out of my way to support these type of titles FIRST before I even think about picking up any of the so-called “blockbuster” games that we get just about every year now.
Next on my list of games to pick up include Rayman Legends, Puppeteer, Wonderful 101, and some downloadable titles from indies.
Not only am I picking them up, but I have been trying to promote the heck out of them too. But I’m only one guy with limited resources. Hopefully more join in too.

The problem is… I haven’t even seen an ad on TV of this game (neither any other games like Pikmin 3. TLoZ:WW or Sonic Lost world) so, how will people know about new games if they don’t even appear on TV?

Well I have seen Pikmin 3 ads, and In North America TW101, TLoZ:WW, and Sonic Lost World, are still a ways away, and I don’t usually see ads for games until they are already released or about a week before the game’s release
I haven’t seen ads for any games on any system except Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
This game has to be one of the most amazing games i’ve played this year, this game deserves more then this. Great writing, great story and great characters, this game is easily my favorite game of 2013. Very attack packed and for those whining about wanting a hard game, this game will please them. For those looking for a 15 hour+ game, this is the game for you. .

Also i admit, Nintendo have to put Ads for their games on TV, i’ve noticed that Nintendo has been ad heavy on the internet. That’s all good but i feel TV ads help more since you are kinda forced to watch them while you watch your shows and etc.

Really helps if you learn to use the gamepad without having to look at the gamepads screen.

Hmmm…as good as gamers they are, I’m shocked that they didn’t want it. It must be very different in japan for them to pass us a challenge as good as they really are. Hell, I bet they can learn a game faster than your normal average gamer (casual) and they are considered casual too. Robots must be that exciting to them that they pass on such a worthy game.
