Voice Of Mario And Luigi To Visit John Lewis Oxford Street

Nintendo fans will be given the ultimate chance to meet one of their heroes on the 7th September when Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario and Luigi, comes to John Lewis on Oxford Street in London for a special Mario themed event from Nintendo.

The event, which runs from 9.30am to 8pm on Saturday 7th September will cater to fans and shoppers of all ages. As well as meeting Mario and Luigi costume characters and Charles Martinet, Nintendo fans will have the chance to try out the latest Mario and Luigi games to come out on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS consoles. There will also be an hourly Mario Kart 7 competition where the best racers can win a trophy and Nintendo themed colouring in books and jigsaws to keep younger fans entertained.

Charles Martinet is an American voice actor who has played Mario since 1995. He also currently provides the voice for Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Toadsworth, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi among other characters. He will join the Mario and Luigi costume characters at Nintendo’s fun filled event on Saturday 7th September between 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm, where he will be available for autograph and photo opportunities.

  • Mario Kart 7

  • New Super Mario Bros. 2

  1. As usual, everything special that happens is always so far away from where I live that I can never participate. Whether it’s E3 games that can be played early at participating Best Buy stores, or someone special at some event, I miss out on EVERYTHING!
