The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD bundled with a Ganondorf figurine launches at GameStop on October 4th. The limited edition collectible stands at 5″ tall and is of Zelda series’ primary antagonist, Ganondorf, as he appears in The Wind Waker. The suggested retail price of the bundle is $54.99, but GameStop is currently selling it for $59.99. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will first be released in the Nintendo eShop for Wii U on September 20th, and then at retail on October 4th.

    1. Is Nintendo so lazy they must use the same artwork as 10 years ago, don’t get me wrong, i’ll buy this game day 1, it is my favourite zelda game, but wtf?and also no tingle?it seemed perfect for the wii u gamepad, and the other player is on the pro controller

      1. theyre making this game into HD cus the cel shaded artwork is still one of the best looking game, still hold up even today, so why not make it HD..

      2. Yes they are that lazy which is why we get rehashes (new super Mario bros Wii, Wii U, 3ds, DS) DKCR Wii, 3ds Wii U and why alot of wii U games don’t have online and the holiday season games don’t have online either and so much more but Not trying to start a debate or argument tho just telling facts

  1. Nintendo needs to stop giving exclusive deals to GameStop. I’d cancel my Amazon preorder and pick this up were it not from GameStop. That store is too damn greedy.

      1. “The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD bundled with a Ganondorf figurine launches at GameStop on October 4th. ” this is a bundle im not talking about the Wii U bundle and I am referring to the Collectors edition Bundle. I am just asking does the copy of the game it comes with digital or physical.

        1. Ganondorf comes with a physical version of Wind Waker HD and the Wii U bundle comes with a downloadable version of Wind Waker HD and the Book: Hyrule Hysteria.

  2. It looks like they copy and pasted the Ganondorf figure from a photo onto the box. -_-
Wished the Wii U “curve” wasn’t there either, but beggars can’t be choosers.

    1. You can tell Ganondorf wasn’t copy and pasted on the box… and what do you expect? The game is for the Wii U, I think the system’s logo is a must on the game’s packaging. -_-

    1. Same here, but not enough to buy the game. I enjoyed Wind Waker, but it was probably my least favorite Zelda (I never played the handheld ones except for Link’s Awakening). I mean, it was a great game, but in my opinion, it’s at the bottom of the list with Skyward Sword. Skyward Sword I didn’t like the controls, otherwise it would have been much higher. Story was great though in both.

  3. This is currently listed #1 on Gamestops best seller list. With the limited edition Zelda Wii U bundle placing 3rd on that list. Looks like things might be looking up for Wii U.

    1. I think it’s okay for it to do so, because the game came out years ago. Anyone could look up the entire gameplay footage on youtube and it would be like you played the game yourself :P

  4. Why Gannon?
who fucking wants Gannon? he’s the bad guy and he sucks
I would much rather have link or zelda, or even a freaking triforce, ANYTHING but Gannon
Actually a Triforce would kick ass, especially if it was exactly like the one in Animal Crossing New Leaf
    … epic

  5. I hope Nintendo makes HD Skyward Sword, HD Twilight Princess, HD Ocarina in Time, HD Majora’s Mask, Super Mario 64 HD, Super Mario Sunshine HD, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 HD, Super Mario World HD, Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, & 3 HD collections.

        1. I’d rather NIntendo work on sequels or new games. Not continually making games HD -_- Once in a while it’s alright.

  6. I better not miss out on this just because I don’t pre-order it. Gamestop better have PLENTY in stock when this releases, or I’ll be one angry person.
