Capcom has revealed that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Dual Destinies for the Nintendo 3DS will be released in North America on October 24th. The company also explained that the 3DS eShop will be receiving extended content and costumes, and it’s coming out at a lower than expected price of $29.99. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Dual Destinies will only be available to western consumers as a digital download on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
$29.99 Awesome :)
Nice
It’s too bad that it has no physical release. I would get it if it did. *shrugs*
Feel the same way. It’s a great series and this should be a joyous time, but I only feel empty about it. . .
Eh, I rather take the digital one considering the pricetag.
yheaaa I love you phoenix
For someone like me who has Ace Attorney as either their favourite or one of their favourite series, after some hard years 24th October is going to be an emotional day. Note, the release date of 24th October has also been confirmed for Europe as well as US.
Also Europe?? *-* I love you
Pearl is cute.
But she’s not a small loli anymore. ;_;
sooo many good 3ds games coming out in october. the 3ds rocks.
First day buy.
Finally! I truly love this series and can’t wait to get my hands on it.
Ugh, October why must you be full of so many games I want!!??? D:
No physical copy, no purchase for me.
Thanks again crapcom for once again not listening to the fans.
Sonic Lost Worlds, Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies within a 4 day span?
Capcom is having serious financial issues, so it’s only natural they only release it digitally.
I really can’t understand why people complain about it.
I’m not complaining but I won’t buy it unless it’s physical. It has nothing to do with Capcom and everything to do with Nintendo, their network, and terrible policies.
I lost hundreds of dollars worth of downloaded games on my 3DS and Wii because downloads are tied to systems and not accounts. So once my systems were gone I was stuck and Nintendo wouldn’t help me when I got them replaced – despite my Club Nintendo account being linked and verified, showing that I purchased those games.
Since that time, I refuse to purchase digital games until Nintendo removes this ridiculous “tied to system” thing.
People whose systems are stolen or broken, they’re screwed.
Have you heard of SD cards?
You can not use SD cards, external HDD’s, etc. on different systems.
TAKE THAT! Take my money you Capcom bastards.
You mean Pearl won’t be providing major boobage when she channels Mia anymore? :(
Is Mia even gonna be in this? Hell, what about Princess Peach…I mean Maya?
Here’s to hoping that everyone who wants a physical copy don’t buy the digital version. If Wrigth has thought me one thing; it’s to never give up, no matter how late it seems.
You really think they’re going to release a physical copy if NO ONE buys the digital? Strong logic.
Did not say that no one should buy the digital version. Those who want that one should of course buy and enjoy that. But those who want a physical release should not. Hopefully, Capcom will realise the potential in a retail version, and everyone get what they want.
Once again, terrible logic. All it will do is make them think, “Oh no one is buying this, let’s not even bother localizing anymore”.
Capcom is plenty aware of how many of AAs fans feel about this. So if sales are lower than expected, that should be their first reason.
In fact, if sales are good despite the reactions from fans, Capcom can likely conclude that their strategy worked. If you are dissatisfied with a product, buying it anyway will remove any reason for the company to change the product. Just look at Japan and their digital version. They weren’t supposed to have that, but fans reacted and they got it. We need the same to happen here, only reversed.
Don’t cry when it fails then.
As long as you don’t cry if Capcom announces that AA won’t be localized in the rest of the world anymore.
I seriously doubt Capcom will see it that way, however…
Please do the same with Monster hunter 4 capcom
