  1. A lot of my favorite Wii U software isn’t listed here, but that’s probably because they’re more like apps– Animal Crossing Plaza, Art Academy Sketchpad, etc. Funny how a gaming console can become such a hub of entertainment just by adding Miiverse!

  2. Why is Ign making a top 25 list for a console that hasn’t been out more than a year? You cant spell ignorant without ign =\

  3. I didn’t know the Wii U had 25 games…you know I’m starting to think Nintendo blew it with this system. I’m a 32 year old gamer who buys plays every system and I’m ready to move on. I enjoy games like Mass Effect and God/Gears of War but have a soft spot for Mario etc. But Nintendo is either extremely arrogant or stupid if they think the public doesn’t see that the Wii U offers nothing near the novelty of the original Wii. And how long do they expect people to wait for games when the competition is chruning them out like clockwork…

    1. It’s Mario in HD, nuff said. Second screen playing is essential, I’m 32 also and sometimes the wife watches shows while I play on the pad. 6 of the top 10 are exclusive and 2 more offer exclusive content or options.

  4. IGN sucking at best as usual lawl. I have 17 Wii U games. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is the best for me … wonderfull 101 second.

  5. Duck Tales Remastered? That’s just a remake of an NES game. How does that count? I know all too well that the Wii U is not doing well, but come on. Duck Tales? That shouldn’t count. And how is SMBU so high and yet Super Luigi U is so low? They should be right near each other, since they’re so similar. That’s just weird. But whatever. Just another person’s opinion. Life goes on.

  6. This top 25 business Is a bit premature isn’t it? Especially when until recently, the Wii U has had about as much choice as a Welsh fish & chip shop..

  7. Solid list. But what I’m really angry at, is that I visited their article and expected a negative tone within the first sentences. And I was not disappointed ;(
