  1. It really annoys me when companies acknowledge things, like, “hey, we know you guys are begging for this stuff, but we aren’t going to bring it anyway.” Or, “we know you guys really want to have this game, that’s cool.”

They don’t even say, “we’re working on making that happen.” Or even, “we’re hoping we can satisfy everyone but we can’t make any promises.”

It’s like, they know, but they don’t care.

As much as it sold in Japan, you would think they would be okay with bringing it to the West.

    1. Who knows, maybe the team is already localizing it but just haven’t officially announced so. So the release date won’t seem to far off.

    2. They obviously care, that’s why they responded. The question is just about money. Even though heart warming cuddles are nice, it’s not enough to run a company you know. The fanbase in Japan is on a whole other level if you compare it to the fanbase worldwide xD

      1. Which is stupid. PSO 2 was doing great in Japan on PC and Vita. I’m sure it would have done great here too.

They took too long though, now everyone who plays MMO’s is on FF XIV. =p

    3. They have to see that it sells well in the west, too. Usually games that appeal the Japanese don’t appeal to everyone else outside of Japan. If they see that enough people want it, more then likely they’ll ship it to other regions.

    4. Before MH4 sold like hotcakes in japan Capcom’s financial situation waa pretty dire. Although I love MH it’s understandable why they’re reluctant to zmtaking risks now. Here’s hoping , though!

  2. I want Monster Hunter to take off in the west and for Capcom to make a version with souped up graphics on a console in the future.

  3. we will get MH4 on 3DS in 1 and half year .. Japan will get MH4 Ultimate on Wii U in 2 and half years… we will get MH4 Ultimate here on Wii U in 4 years.

  4. That’s what people don’t undertsand. Except a few cases, if enough people show their excitement about a game which isn’t supposed to come out in Europe and America, there are chances for the game to come to us, as they can smell the money.
Most of people are just like “Well… Fuck” when they should just let Nintendo know they are here.

    1. That’s fucking awesome. I’m this~close to importing a 3DS, but learning the language has been slow going for me. I can understand some, but can’t read it worth shit, and that’s kinda important If I’m going to game a lot… One game I wanted was text-heavy… :\

  5. I really hope that they bring it to the west soon but they will probably have some crazy sales expectations with Monster Hunter 4 selling really well in Japan but Monster Hunter over there is really popular.

Unrelated – Still waiting for Bravely Default to come to the west

  6. Capcom: Mufufu. Oh, yes…da sawrty tears, so dericious. You want Monsta Hunta? Den BEG…BEG!!! Show us how much you want dish game, damn you! Get on your knees and tewr me you rove me!

    1. Just BC a franchise sells well in Japan, it doesn’t guarantee it’ll sell the same elsewhere. Just like CoD sells good in NA, but it doesn’t sell well in JAP. If more fans keep begging them though, they’re sure to see the opportunity to expand on bu$ine$$.

  7. Are you guys getting bored in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate? or getting into hype? the mh3u is only 6 months old. and you guys want mh4 already? gee… oh well, i think some of you not even a fan…

    1. It’s more getting into the hype if anything, and plus, just because we “want” MH4 doesn’t mean we’re gonna GET MH4 anytime soon. It takes time on Capcom’s side as well y’know, so by the time we (may) get MH4 in the west, 3U would be quite old

  8. I’ve gotta vent a bit. I own alot of nintendo consoles, but this wii u is horrible, nintendo needs to get there asses in gear and fix the problems with the system.
    first and third party games
    all the apps
and give us an ambassador program for all shit we’ve had to deal with like super slow loading times in the past and freezing problems

    1. The ambassador program for 3DS was understandable as the system cost too much to begin with. The WiiU was priced right, it was your choice to buy and it is too much to expect Nintendo to give you extra because you were an “early adopter”. All new consoles and games (today) have problems and you should have expected them.

  9. OMG I’d like so like if this game like totally came to the US, honey! Please Capcom, dude, you like totally have to release it here too, honey! There are fans here too, you know, dude!

  10. Nintendo are just like these gangsters now. They’ve been milking their franchises and skimping on online and graphics lately. Iwata en shin su sun effing Japenese gangsters taking advantage of their loyal fans and all the newcomer casual from the Wiii.

  11. FUCK U WANTING ME TO BEG YO GREEDY PUNK AZZ BITCH SELFS. STOP SAYIN U KNOW WE WANT IT YET DONT RELEESE IT. U KNOW U FUNA DO IT NEWAYZ U GREEDY MOFOS

  12. Do as i did! learn Japanese, and now i have it imported and the Goa-magara 3ds!
On a side note, this sucks, what if it gets western release and i cant play with my friends who didnt have the Japanese version? god damn region lock.

  17. Capcom makes alot of mistakes. Ignoring megaman 25th anniversary, no online in MH3 3ds, but i swear to god if they dont release MH4 in north america, i will make it my life goal to become president of the united states and invade Japan.
