Professional F1 Racing Commentator Calls A Round Of Mario Kart 8

Forbes has covered a video featuring Alan Boiston, professional F1 racing announcer of automotive gaming channel Team VVV, commentating a round of Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, Nintendo’s latest kart racing bonanza starring inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom. Boiston has experience calling racing broadcasts for UK television, and he lends his talents to a rather amusing 9 minutes of Mario Kart 8, repeatedly referring to the new technologies found in the game like hover crafts and hang gliding. Expected to be a flagship game for Wii U after Mario Kart Wii became one of Nintendo’s biggest selling games of all time, Mario Kart 8 is set to be released in Spring 2014.

      1. If you don’t realize the game is controlled by the gyrosensor and accelerometer of the Wii U gamepad it’s a challenge. Not a hard adjustment, but there is still an adjustment.
