Lapresse is reporting that Beenox is busy developing The Amazing Spider Man 2 for the Wii U. The game is scheduled to be released in May 2014 to coincide with the movie. The game is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and Nintendo 3DS. Beenox promises a more realistic web swinging mechanic and a combat system with more depth. The story of the game will go further than the movie, with an emphasis on the personality of Peter Parker. Additional details: new villains and old foes, Manhattan will be more lively, Hero System, consequences for letting chaos happens.

The last Spider-Man games haven’t been anywhere near good. If they make this game like Activistion and Treyarch made Spider-Man 2 The Movie, maybe this could be an actual good one.

Well well, more games coming to the Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One. I starting to feel like the whole “Wii U is doomed” is kind of dumb now. Xbox One on the other hand is looking to be the next Dreamcast, killing it’s own company by being the worst console to develop for. Both the PS4 and Wii U seem to be getting more indie game love than the Xbox One now a days.
