A significant number of key Nintendo franchises have found their way on to the struggling Windows 8 App Store. These mobile orientated games include Mario Jump, Yoshi jump and Pokemon Attack, all of which are clearly using Nintendo IP without permission. It appears as though Microsoft isn’t interested in weeding out Nintendo’s protected intellectual property and is currently content to let it thrive.

1.) Mario Jumper is 7 levels below lame. Someone making a buck on the Mario franchise. Seriously, I can’t explain how horrible this app is.
2.) I think Pokemon Attack is gone. I searched 3 ways. Don’t see it. A lot of fan service and pokedex apps.
I still agree with the article, in that Microsoft should know better than to release a MARIO app or one of Nintendo’s IP’s.
