New Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Trailer Shows Off StreetPass Battles For Rupees

This afternoon’s Nintendo Direct has brought us a brand new trailer of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Presented on the special edition gold Zelda 3DS, you can see Link in top-down view action slay those enemies in style. The trailer even shows us more of Link as a drawing, merging into walls in clever ways to solve various puzzles. Also announced in the trailer is a new way to battle online with StreetPass, sending your own dark Link to battle other players for rupees – handy if you’re rupee grinding. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will release November 22 for North America and Europe.

  1. The only thing im worried about in this game is the dungeons being too easy. i mean you can tackle them in any order so that wouldnt make the first dungeon any harder than the last would it?

    1. True. But we don’t know yet. It could be that the first four are doable in any order but all have to be done before the next group, etc. Or there might be an intended order, which ascends in difficulty, but you don’t have to follow it. Kind of like the original Legend of Zelda.
But it’ll likely be easy anyway. SS was a joke.

    2. i would think because of the renting system any dungeon could be difficult depending on how prepared you are for it

  2. just about a week left to go. I really hope this game quadruple or quin the sales of that crap 3d world. can’t have nintendo thinking games like that are ok.
