Official Nintendo Magazine has awarded The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds a 94% and Super Mario 3D World a 93%. In the review, ONM states point-blank that Super Mario 3D World makes it look as though other gaming companies got High Definition wrong. They also mention the high level of polish that each level received and reveals that the game has an abundance of post-game content. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and the North American version of Super Mario 3D World are released on November 22nd, whereas Mario’s latest outing on the Wii U launches in Europe on November 29th.

I never got into the Sonic franchise, but many Mario games have timers too and you kinda have to hurry – like this one. It still won’t stop me from getting it, it looks too awesome. :)

I liked Sonic Lost World. The problem wasn’t that it wasn’t “speedy” enough. It was that the controls we’re a little questionable and the game had too many cheap deaths. Plus they made collecting the gold rings meaningless.
I believe if the Sonic team sticks towards the direction of Lost World, and refine the “less”-refined aspects of the game, create a better story, but keep the visuals then the next Sonic game will be REALLY good.

Well, a Nintendo magazine gave that quote….soooooo yeah. I have to admit that I really didn’t like the quote either because it’s a very unnecessary and inaccurate shot at the other consoles. Mario 3D World looks good, but I’ve seen older games that looked better. (Final Fantasy XIII-2 makes this look like the ET video game)

The thing is, Super Mario 3D World actually does look absolutely stunning. It’s akin to how Super Mario Galaxy looks compared to similar titles around that same time period. Even now, I’d say Super Mario Galaxy’s graphics (and SMG2, for that matter) still look excellent, and as we know, the Wii’s an SD console.
Yes, some games do look better than 3D World in the eyes of other people, but so far, 3D World is easily one of the best looking games I’ve seen this year. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.
I’m actually seeing wii u s getting sold out at alot of stores around, a friend of mine who works at Walmart told me they got 10 unis and they were sold in that day, went by gamestop they were sold too, target, and best buy as well. Some told me they had more of the mario units than zelda and people came and bought the mario units first.
