First Footage For Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, Plus New Details

The first footage for Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson has been posted online after it was announced yesterday for a summer release in Japan. The side-scrolling 3D action game will include local co-op and tag-team multiplayer modes – known in the game as pair battle – where two characters fight together and deliver special combination attacks, which you can see in the video above.

Set in Kyoto, the sequel also brings two new characters called Kagura and Naraku, as well as the return of previous characters from the Hanzo Academy and Hebijo Clandestine Girls Academy. Murasume, the older brother of Ikaruga, will also be playable, but requires save data from Burst in order to unlock. Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson will be available for the Nintendo 3DS on August 7 in Japan.

  2. Shinovi Versus better get enough success for a US release of this game. In fact, this looks BETTER than Shinovi Versus, and I thought the Vita had better hardware.
