US retailer Best Buy has posted the tentative box-art for Nintendo 3DS exclusive, Yoshi’s New Island. Nintendo of America recently announced that Yoshi’s long-awaited adventure will be released in North America on March 14th. Nintendo Europe has yet to announce a release date, but hopefully it’s not too far off.
Dive into Yoshi’s world for the third installment in the beloved franchise. Enjoy fun gameplay mechanics, including Yoshi’s Flutter Jump, Ground Pound and Egg Throw, while experiencing the new abilities — use giant-size Mega Eggs to mow down obstacles, destroy pipes and blocks and reveal hidden doors
Move your 3DS around to discover hidden areas and aim Mega Egg throws with the device’s gyro sensor and the new binocular ability. Explore different worlds and encounter a variety of art styles, such as oil, watercolor and crayon

They’re a big piece of cr*p. Last night it said “available until 1/12” which means there should be new games already, but now it says “available until 1/13”. They already offer trash. I hate they’re so irresponsible. I’m glad the Wii U is doing bad.

To anyone thinking of buying this, wait for reviews. It was developed by many of the same people as Yoshi’s Island DS! and that game kinda sucked.
I hope Nintendo proves me wrong though and it actually turns out to be a good game.
That is a good box art, it is a shame that the actual art style of the game does not have the same kind of charm.

It’s yoshi but it still involves mario, which means I ain’t supporting it.
Yoshi’s Island is my favorite game of all times. I liked the DS version too, so I can’t wait for the 3DS one. Definitively, I feel like I am a child again when I play these, such a good feeling. :)

I’m a huge Yoshi fan, but not really into Yoshi games. Similar to how I despise Mario but love Mario games which is how I feel about Donkey Kong, hate him but love his games, well atleast the Country games and 64. Wario on the other hand… hate him and his games. Characters I love, have crappy games, like Peach. The characters I can’t stand end up with better games like the first Luigi’s Mansion.

Loved all the Yoshi games (Yes even the DS one, it was one of the best games for that system) so yeah, really looking forward to this, I also hope they release Yarn Yoshi or whatever it’s called for the WiiU soon.
