Capcom has today confirmed that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for Nintendo 3DS will be heading to the west sometime in early 2015. A lot of fans have been clamouring for the game to come to the United States and Europe, so it’s great news that it’s finally coming.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in.

    1. Was starting to hate you a little bit…now I do not haha, MH4 was amazing, sure hope they up it in Ultimate/G or whatever <3

  1. I contributed this but they should have released it forthis year!!!!! it doesn’t take a year to translate and remake copies!

    1. Im sure they are developing WiiU version atm, so they can release both versions in West, kinda like they did to Mh3U

    2. Ummmmmm it’s a new game…it’s like you think 3 Ultimate and Tri were the same game…they were not, it’s not just a matter of translation, it’s a matter of improving the game to the point of perfection, first in Japanese, and THEN translation….stop whining, it’s coming <3

    1. The Link skin was a gimmick really, no boosts at all, terrible…plus we probs won’t even get it, we’ll get duel Luigi skins haha

                  1. When you learn that song at ikana canyon castle to turn links different forms into statues to stand on the switches to make your way up to the stone tower temple?

        1. Yeah, I would really like that! Haven’t played Monster Hunter, except for the MH3U Nintendo 3DS and Wii U demo, but didn’t pick it up. The reason was mostly because it was released at the time I had just gotten my 3DS, and school was really taking all my time… Might pick this up for 3DS, but a Wii U version would be my first choice!

    1. It pretty much is. This year JUST started. xD And it might even be longer than a years wait unless it comes out in January, which I doubt will happen. But still cool to know it’s going to come here at all instead of never.

      2. Oh sorry I was just talking about a Monster Hunter game. I know there will be other goodies. Like it would be cool to have Monster Hunter 5 only on Wii U but I don’t think that’s very likely.

    1. Do good games stop being good if they are a year old, even if you have never played it before? I never realized videogames had an experation date. I guess the tens of milliins of people who buy vintage and rerelease games every year and love the heck out of them never got that memo.

I never played the first Metroid Prime until the third one was announced for Wii. Still Awesome. Wind Waker … still awesome. The original top-down Fallout games … still awesome.

I have still never played a single Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts game. Am I still interested in playing the old ones? Abolutely! Why? … because I heard they were awesome, and still are.

Just sayin … attention span problems much?

      1. Dude, I love old games too. I just said that because I was being a bitch about having to wait until 2015. ‘Twas just a little sarcasm, my friend. Unfortunately it’s hard to convey that in text comments. Didn’t mean for you to have a defensive rant against me. :P

        1. Sarcasm is very hard to convey in text. When one intends to not be misunderstood, it really is necessary to be blatantly clear and obvious.

Following your ststement with “(Just Kidding … I just hate having to wait that long)” or even just ‘jk.’ or any other indication of sarcasm really is warranted when communicating online. It really did seem like you were serious.

Then again … I just really need to stop falling for Baiting Trolls and stop responding to such comments.

  2. I don’t want to see anymore ‘ports’ on the Wii U. Developers need to be building games from the ground-up on Wii U. A ground up Monster Hunter is what the Wii U needs.

Until then, X will have to do.

  5. Reblogged this on ディズニー森 [Disney Mori] and commented:
I’m so excited about this. I’ve been playing Munter since 2009 and my partner and I have spent almost a 1000 hours playing 2ndG and the Japanese Portable 3rd, both on the PSP.
In fact, my partner has been reluctant to buy a 3DS but with this announcement he’s changed his mind! Mwahaha~ Nice one, Capcom! Can’t wait!

  6. Oh god, how many monsters will be in this game? I bet it’ll beat Freedom Unite’s monstrous (see what i did there) numbers since MH4 itself had about as many monsters as MH3U
