Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has published the top 25 best-selling video game in Japan during 2013. As you would expect, the majority of the games were on the immensely popular Nintendo 3DS, but there’s a few PlayStation 3 titles nestled in there. Interestingly the eighth best-selling game of 2013 in Japan was Rockstar’s acclaimed Grand Theft Auto V.

Great taste compared to other markets. *cough*UK*cough* … The fact that Super Mario 3D World (the so-called flop) is at number 15 after only being released in late November shows that Wii U still has life in that market.
