Sega’s new Sonic game – which was apparently in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U – has been verified as incorrect. The game was unofficially revealed by toy maker Jazwares at the Nuremberg toy fair last week, detailing a 2015 date for the gaming platforms, but Sega has quashed such rumours by issuing an official statement, saying it is “yet to announce details” of upcoming games, though a third unannounced Sonic title was previously revealed as part of Nintendo’s exclusive deal with Sega.
“Sega is yet to announce details of upcoming console video games for Sonic the Hedgehog or further details regarding the new Sonic CG TV series. The recent information coming out of Nuremburg Toy Fair was incorrect.

so sega………youbetter keep up for the promise of hgaving 3 sonic games exclusive to Nintendo. you did 2 of them so far :)
ussualy i think the same, when a company says exclusive, it should be like that (rayman wii u), but the sonic games are not good and would not help the u selling hardware, so… it really dosent matter if they put the games on every plattform.
its even bether for sega, maybe they would sell some more copies of the game.

I thought this was clear in the article. I’ve edited it in to reflect this news more appropriately. Sega’s statement was vague at best.

It is better than PS 3.5 and the weak X1 which can’t run games at 60FPS !

Ps4 is WAY MORE superioir than the Ps3 and nearly on par with the X-One

Because PS3 can handle PS4 games .
is because sales are bigger on Ps3, also many 3rd party devs can lower a bit of gfx and port them on Ps3
example, Fifa games

it is true that dvd vs bluray is the same, but no Ps3 game is 25gb
however, cd=400mb vs dvd=4gb is very different

Really? Sonic Lost World was terribly flawed and the Wii U version got overall, better scores than the 3DS version.
I liked the direction that they (tried) to go with Sonic, but the controls were horrendous. They need to fix that for future Sonic games pronto.
Hopefully this last Wii U exclusive will do just that. I STILL HAVE HOPE.

The game was a better game than it was reviewed as. It pretty much goes for any game that breaks the mold.

they nearly always are exclusive anyway.
I wouldn’t be surprise if Sega got bought by Nintendo and all the games that WERE going to be on the other console have to be released on to the Wii U XD
I mainly game on the PS4 but I’d love to see it because the Wii U is much better for Sega games while the Xbone can have all the baby games like Tityfall
yeah.. it would be big news if Nintendo was the ones MAKING the Sonic games, because SEGA is pretty much trash right now.

Well, Sega has crushed our hopes and dreams once again! Instead, I guess we’ll get something like Lost World 2, where Eggman and the Deadly Six appear again. I’m hoping for something bigger, something like….Sonic Tropical Thunder! (The site did a post on it a while back) Now that was going to be epic!
