Will Soraya Saga And Next Level Games Be Showing Off Games At Nintendo Direct Tomorrow?

We already know that a Nintendo Direct will be coming tomorrow and arriving a little later than usual. What we don’t know is which games will be shown off. Nintendo says it’s showcasing its spring lineup which will undoubtedly include Donkey Kong and Mario Kart. However, Soraya Saga retweeted the Direct announcement in Japan and when she retweets a Direct, X news usually follows. Next Level Games also retweeted the Direct so hopefully we will see something from them, too. The Nintendo Direct begins at  2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET US and 10pm in England. What would you like to see?

Update: Platinum Games also retweeted the Direct

Thanks, Retrogaminglord

    1. As long as they show Xenoblade 2 I don’t care if the rest of the direct is shit. Xenoblade 2 will be the greatest game of the next 10 years. Only 2 games can beat it, Mario64 2 or Shenmue 3.

    2. I’m not getting my hopes up too high but I’m definitely going to be watching this Direct in good faith. Nintendo please deliver that’s all I ask

  1. Yay! Platinum games!

Would love a release date or even window for Bayonetta 2. But I’ll be satisfied with new footage.

Next level games can only bring good things too. But if its Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon for Wii U, I’m going to be extremely annoyed.

  2. Calling this tomorrow either we are getting Diddy and Dixie as a team in smash, just dixie and diddy separate or King K Rool.

  3. New bayonetta and X trailer maybe tomorrow, next level games new project, and maybe some new stuff. It seems to be cool direct tomorrow.

    1. You have to be excited when Bayonetta is involved. Whether it’s a release date, appearance in Smash Bros, special edition, or just a new trailer,

Bayonetta is always worthy of excitement.

      1. I’m honestly not into Bayonetta. I know a lot of people like it but it’s a series that I never really got interested in.

That being said, I did enjoy Wonderful 101 that Platinum made, so I’m curious to see what they have.

        1. Well I’d be very surprised if they’ve got anything other than Bayonetta 2 to show. It’s due out this year and it’s the only title they’re working on that we know of.

I doubt Bayonetta 2 will change sufficiently to interest you if you didn’t like the first one though.

This one can be played on easy mode with entirely touchscreen based controls…if that helps…?

          1. It’s not that. The style of the series just doesn’t suit me. The story, the characters, the gameplay, etc. Just not really fun the one time I tried the first one.

            1. Yea, I didn’t think the thing missing from the Bayonetta series that would win you over would be touch controls.

When I played the Wonderful 101 though, I was initially surprised how similar it felt to Bayonetta. So I find it a little odd that someone likes The Wonderful 101 but not Bayonetta. They are awfully similar to me, gameplay wise. Couldn’t be more different character and story wise though, so…

Nintendo could surprise the fuck out of us all and announce the Wonderful 102 instead. Ah, to dream…

        1. yeah but its kurisu. when i made my wordpress account kurisu was taken so i just did another variation of the name. didn’t ever change it

  4. Soraya Saga, Next Level Games and Platinum Games?

This is turning out like that block party where are the popular kids are. Lol.

  5. Next level, platinum,
    news on X
    sega
sounds great so far. Hope to see news on yoshi yarn, and lots of news indie news,
of course some new game announcements would be exciting. Hopefully they also announce some general new projects, and show the new OS update

  6. I hope if they give a release date for bayonetta that the also alow the first one to be downloaded after the direct I’ve never played it and would like to own both

    1. I hope they do!!! They have a lot they can improve on and everything was amazing in the game except for the controls and quick time events (THATS IT).

Improve on the controls and maybe get rid of the quick time events (or make them better somehow) and the next installment could be a 10/10 game.

  7. i know tw set for spring releases but watch their will be a tiny tease of metriod for wiiu and say its in development just like what square did with Kingdom Hearts 3

  8. Eeeeck! I knew a Direct was coming up!!! Also, this is exciting news! We will probably see some Bayonetta 2 news :D Also, MK and Sakurai might reveal Palutena!!!!! :D :D :D

  9. I’m not getting my hopes too high, it’s a focused direct on the next 3 months or so, since it said spring. I wouldn’t expect more than 1 or 2 games beyond that timeframe maybe (Bayonetta 2 and Smash, because it’s smash), news about a summer update, 1 or 2 surprise games in the veins of Dr Luigi and NES Remix, and maybe 1 big surprise but nothing E3 leveled. Maybe at the next long term direct. Also, a new 3DS game. We’re probably gonna see persona Q footage. That’s my expectations at least (Mario Kart and DK are beyond obvious mentions too, considering how close they are to launch, especially DK

    1. Well this Direct should technically cover up to more than half way through June which would be 5 months if you count February(now) to June(end of Spring, start of Summer).

Nintendo could release a lot between now and then.

    1. This Direct has been getting a lot of attention. Even GAME.UK has retweeted the Direct along with Sakurai (Sora), Nintendo, Next Level, Monolith Soft, and Platinum.

  10. That update made me literally hear “hallelujah”.
Now, if they’re they do not announce bayonetta 2 release date, but instead makes us sit through first 20 minutes of donkey Kong, going to flip.

  11. I don’t like to get hyped……………..but we really need a good Direct tomorrow. Here’s to hoping Nintendo doesn’t disappoint like usual.

  13. I’m so fucking excited for all the news tommorow. I usually enjoy most Directs, so I doubt I’ll be disappointed.

    1. For the Wii U? That might be a good idea. Nintendo is struggling in the UK and Europe, and what do people over there love? Footbal (Soccer in America). A Mario Strikers could drive up Wii U sales in those regions.

  14. Hopefully it’s an improved version of the Mario Strikers series if they unveil a new one. I would love to see Rosalina and K. Rool in it, playable of course.

  15. YESS>>>>>>>>>>>MY PREDICTION FOR LUIGI MANSION 3 MIGHT COME TRUE AT THIS DIRECT! ( they DID say his year will carry over)
