The long-running battle between Sega and Nintendo in the 90’s is due to be detailed in both a book and in a movie. The book is titled Console Wars and is written by Blake Harris. There will also be a movie based on the book and this will be written and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Sony Pictures and Scott Rudin will be developing the project. The book’s writer, Blake Harris, will also serve as Executive Producer.

I was actually hoping for a comedy. I’m not a huge fan of Documentaries. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

I love the console wars!! This is definitely going to be a solid film/book. #SpoilerWarning Nintendo wins. Sega wins with game quality (arguably) but Nintendo wins since they’re still making consoles and the big bucks. I hope that this is basically a fictional version. It could be like the Odd Couple or the Honeymooners. The CEO of Nintendo and Sega live next door or something and then the hijinx begins. I’m sure that we’ll be loving this film!!
