Twitch Will Be The Official Streaming Partner Of E3 2014

Twitch, the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers, today announced it will be the official live streaming partner of Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The partnership with the tradeshow’s owner, Entertainment Software Association (ESA), is a three year agreement beginning with E3 2014 that will heighten the global presence for the leading video game event.

E3 2014 takes place on June 10-12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center where Twitch will have a prominent booth in the South Hall. Twitch’s E3 channel will be integrated into all parts of the convention’s presence, including E3 Insider and E3Expo.com. In addition, the Twitch feed will be featured on monitors spread throughout the convention halls, as well as the lounges and press center.

“Live video has changed the video game industry in a fundamental way and transformed how gamers learn, communicate and share their passion for games,” said Jonathan Simpson-Bint, chief revenue officer, Twitch. “Twitch looks forward to deepening consumers’ E3 online experience with top E3 news, original interviews, and behind-the-scenes E3 footage.”

“E3 is the leading computer and video game event in the world. It is known and respected as the launch pad for the latest in video game news,” said Rich Taylor, senior vice president of communications and industry affairs at ESA. “We look forward to partnering with Twitch and extending E3’s worldwide reach to billions of consumers.”

        1. Am not really hyped for Sony and Microsoft E3 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, etc. press conferences at all. They will have nothing good to show.

          1. Why do Sony and Microsoft fanboys follow a Nintendo news site? They claim to have no interest in Nintendo but we see them on every single article.

            1. Lol I was wondering the exact same thing they come here every day saying Nintendo sucks there gay I dont get it either

  1. Doesn’t matter, Nintendo will most likely not make an appearance in the main stage again like last year, they will use their “Nintendo Directs” which sadly, has less viewers than the main stage presentation itself. No wonder the Wii U failed to sell many copies last year, no advertisement.

I really wish Nintendo will go to the main fucking stage, please Nintendo, will you? You know, to the streams that will be getting most of the viewers.

    1. Agreed, if they don’t show their stuff at e3 it’s a lost cause. Only the fans will be watching their event then.

  2. I hope they dont do the direct thing at e3 I just want them to be at e3 surprising us showing bad ass games so I hope they do the main stage thing

  3. Nintendo need to go back to releaseing cool games like the gamecube days when thet showed us resident evil remake resident evil 0 mario sunshine thats when Nintendo was at its prime

I also feel sorry for all the games coming up like MK 8, Smash Wii U, Sonic Boom, Bayonetta 2, Zelda Wi U, Hyrule Warriors, Yarn Yoshi, and last but not least Fire Emblem X Shin Megami. So sad.
