Festival Of Magic Kickstarter Has Relaunched Under New Name

Norwegian developer SnowCastle Games has relaunched the Kickstarter for Festival of Magic under a new name. The upcoming fantasy, turn-based RPG has been renamed to Earthlock: Festival of Magic, and is looking to raise $150,000 for the game’s first volume. At the time of writing, SnowCastle Games has acquired almost a third of their target, sitting at just over $40,000 with 32 days to go.

Last year, SnowCastle Games killed the Kickstarter appeal due to new console releases and a holiday rush, but aimed to relaunch in February. Although a little later than planned, the new campaign has launched with a smaller funding goal and an alpha demo for potential backers.

Earthlock: Festival of Magic will follow the audacious scavenger Amon through a rich, non-linear story in the heart of Umbra.  The game will also feature puzzles and elements of harvesting materials in order to craft new objects. Earthlock: Festival of Magic is aiming for a 2015 release on Wii U, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac and Linux. You can learn more about the game on the developer’s Kickstarter page, here.

    1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Sounds a bit desperate to me to change the name…

If it doesn’t get support in the first place, why should it the second?…

Ipso facto, the Wii U’s name wouldn’t matter…
