Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have announced a new LEGO game for the Nintendo 3DS. LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids is a direct sequel to LEGO Battles: Ninjago for the Nintendo DS and promises some super high-kicking action-orientated gameplay based on the Ninjago TV show.
Developed by Hellbent Games in partnership with TT Games, LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids will feature 30 fast-paced levels that follow key plot scenarios featured in the “LEGO Ninjago Rebooted” animated series. In the game, the player must fight like a true Spinjitsu Master, using special moves and combo attacks or secret weapons like Technoblades to hack into computers to solve puzzles and defend the city. TT Games managing director Tom Stone said the following in support of the game, due to arrive this summer:
“It’s been over two years since we introduced our first LEGO Ninjago game, and we are excited to bring the series back for our fans with LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids, Young gamers will have loads of fun playing as their favorite Ninja, and we’re introducing new characters and new villains – it’s the ultimate Ninja action game for kids!”

Looks like it could be fun, though most Lego games are exactly the same. I hope this takes the direction the Lego Movie game did and doesn’t clone Lego Batman for the 40th time.

When I saw Nindroids, playing as Lego robot versions of Nintendo characters came to mind.
