  1. In other words, IGN, GameSpot and now even Metacritic can be full of it sometimes but not as much as Gamespot who hates and is biased against Nintendo regardless.

    1. So because they give a Nintendo game a score that is lower than a 7, they’re automatically biased against Nintendo? C’mon, man. That’s just dumb. I’m a huge Nintendo fan, but not every game they make is perfect. Triple Deluxe seems to be a great game though. But I can see how someone might rate it low due to an unsatisfyingly easy difficulty. Other reviewers didn’t mind the difficulty and gave it high scores, so overall, it’s a good game.

    2. There is no console war. Stop thinking in terms of winners and losers, and just enjoy the damn game.

God, you people act like babies.

      Agreed…

Although it might be funny because of some jokes or events happening in the game, if its easy then it’s not really something for me…

      1. By that logic Megaman would suck for me, 4-7 I beat on my first play threw. I beat Megaman 3 on my first day, and beat Megaman 2 without losing a life back when I was young. Today I still find it very easy.

Or Strider on the NES which only took a day to beat and then I could beat it without losing a life. Beat Duck Tales on a rental, Chip and Dales took maybe an hour or two.

But you know what, all of these game listed are great.

On the other hand I heard Dr. Jeckyl is really hard….

  2. Is it more, or are some people just not appreciating games that use imagination as opposed to the overly used titles like CoD?

Seems to be the case on many occasions now.

  3. I can’t wait to play it regardless of what reviews give it. I’m just scared that Nintendo has dumbed down the difficulty for children, just like mario and luigi dream team
    X(

  4. A little surprised Jose at IGN gave it the lowest score. I think he might dislike that franchise and personally does not appreciate it for what it offers. Being easy is subjective as if you go through collecting everything it ramps up the difficulty. Edge gives another lower score. Shocker, they really hate Nintendo. Other than those two you’d be looking at a mid 80s Metacritic score and a decent purchase.

    1. I personally think there is something seriously wrong with the video game industry in this day and age.

A Nintendo IP never used to get a bad review back in the 90’s. Now you’ve got games that contain no thought anymore, and are just money grabbing.

  5. I think it’s wrong for critics to review games based on the difficult level. Of course Kirby games are easy, they’re made for little kids and that’s good. Little kids need easy games for them to enjoy so they don’t get frustrated. I know for sure I’m gonna buy this game for my little cousin.

  6. This is the one thing in his review that really ticked me off” There aren’t a whole lot of reasons for anybody older than 12 to pick this one up”

  7. I’m just not a DK, Mario, Yoshi, Kirby, sports fan.
I’m starving here Nintendo. Metroid, Zelda, Starfox, F-Zero, or anything rated T or M!!

    1. Just buy a freaking other console. Nintendo ONLY gives people those games. You should know by now, just get another console. There’s plenty of good games that are t or m on other consoles. You might not get sick and tired of the same game to huh? Im sure you will just take it and only play nintendo still, how typical.

    1. 900P and 23 fps on xbone. Gladly I shall await the possible PC or WiiU version. If not it is PS4 am getting it for.

  8. Rule of gaming media, Nintendo cannot have both of it’s consoles firing on a combined total of 16 blistering made in heaven cylinders. With Mario Kart 8 invigorating gamers world wide, what do you think Kirby getting 8s ( pun intended ) would do for nintendo in May. They will sell and attract buyers of all ages, making people see the WiiU and Mario Kart 8 all over gamestop and purchasing more. If Nintendo runs May, after e3 people would be clamoring onto all things Mario and DK, third parties with substance. Thus the ign score.

      Gamer there you are…

I think that me, you, Nintendo is my Blood, Stranga and Jaded_Drybones should create some sort of N-Force that contacts High Command and express our concerns and frustration with the current orders…

  9. Kirby has never been difficult so it’s not a surprise that it’s easy. For this reason the games don’t keep my attention for long. I’ll admit they are fun tho so regardless ill probly still play it

  10. A Nintendo game gets a low score and suddenly the whole site’s biased against Nintendo? If that was Jose Otero for IGN, or any of the NVC guys they love Nintendo. Reviews are just one persons opinion on that game though. If you like Kirby games buy it. I probably won’t, most Kirby games don’t seem aimed at me. I always felt that Kirby mainly brought in new and/or less dedicated gamers and showed them the ropes of platformers- then they’d be more inclined to try Mario, DK, etc. But that said Kirby and the Crystal Shards was amazing to me. Along with a couple others. Regardless i’ve got a list of other 3DS games I need to pick up before I even contemplate trying this out. Here’s hoping Wii U gets a cool ass Kirby game in the future though. I’d love it if they shook up the formula for it, maybe make it a 3D adventure. Go all out.

  11. as usually nintendo fanboys will damage controll. lol the ps vita will soon trash the 3ds. ps vita is already beating the 3ds weakly in japan. expect remakes and rehashes on the 3ds at this point.

    1. vita has under 10 million, 3ds has over 40 million at the moment. Vita has been in the market for a while now almost 3 years, I like the vita its nice and powerful, but it barely has anything on it, and sony has even really support it.

    2. Vita – 10 million
      3DS – 40 million

Yeah, they’re doing so well. The 3DS has hit a lull because of the huge library of games released last year. However, we’ve already seen Bravely Default, Mario Golf: World Tour and now Kirby Triple Deluxe. I bet more will on the way soon.
