Developer Gears for Breakfast has released a new trailer for A Hat in Time. The video gives a brief look at the upcoming 3D platformer’s first two chapters. Inspired by several Nintendo 64 classics such as Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, A Hat in Time centers around a time traveler named Hat Kid, who is tasked with collecting Time Pieces scattered throughout the universe in order to stop the evil Mustache Girl. Although the game hasn’t yet been confirmed for Wii U, Gears for Breakfast says it hopes to eventually make a version for the Nintendo eShop.

-I think my Xbox One was a success after listening to the community and realizing DRM is ahead of its time and not everyone has internet yet. Other than a few minor issues such as the fact that they need to fix party chat, add more customization to the Home menu, and give us our headset adapters with 5.1 and 7.1 Surround sound, the console is a very well done machine. It is powerful and the games look stunning, even if most are in 720p, which will change soon. The controller is the best controller I have used to date and don’t have a single complaint about it, Kinect is really fun to use and very useful. I enjoy playing it and think it was worth the $500 easily, especially if it is meant to last 6-8 years.
