New Wii U Exclusive Devil’s Third Shown At IGN

IGN has revealed the mystery Wii U game and it turns out to be Devil’s Third. The game is developed by Ninja Gaiden director Tomonobu Itagaki. IGN says that the game action game marries melee combat, and cover- and first-person shooting. It also features objective-based, attack/defend competitive multiplayer modes, a level editor, and character customization.

Nintendo “really understood my vision,” Itagaki told IGN, “so I felt I really had to work with them.”

    1. Devil’s Third switched engines during its development, as the company responsible for making its original engine went out of business. Since that time, Valhalla Game Studios have continued development using an adaptation of video game developer Relic Entertainment’s engine.

This isn’t an exclusive title for Wii U so this shouldn’t be one of their “secret games”…

Because he’s getting the console. How many times do we have to tell you people this?

                1. He’s telling NC not you, wtf do you care what people tell him? Unless you know, you’re NC using an ALT account which would be fucken sad considering you guys have conversations here LMFAO.

      1. If it’s exclusive, how do you explain the other platforms at the end of the trailer as Mr. Commander stated?

Still, quite impressive Nintendo allowed such a game on their kiddie arcade machine. By the end of 2015, I may have to give up smoking.

It’s an old trailer. The new Trailer that they showed on IGN said “Only On Wii U” at the end.

  2. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

IF this is exclusive then why does it mention every other console except the Wii U at the end?…

    A big epic fail maybe?…

  3. So, what is going on here? That trailer show THQ logo and show it a PS3 and XBox 360 game, does the game get caned last generation and Nintendo pick and open the can and get this games as a Wii U exclusive or What?

  4. That is an old trailer before THQ disbanded, when the game was in development for those consoles. Now, it is not!

Anyway I’m excited and somewhat annoyed by the event…

Kirby was a disappointment, we don’t need another Kirby right now…

And it was too damn short…

Other than that, I’m so getting Zelda, Toad, X, Bayonetta 2, Sonic Boom, Mario Party 10, Mario Maker, maybe Splatoon, Starfox and hoping to the holy N, Metroid!

    1. I’m getting so poor because of what Nintendo just have show us, my wallet will not be able to handle this departure.

      1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

        Indeed…

Weren’t they supposed to show a new game right after the event at ign?…

        I didn’t see anything…

Nvm I see now that it was Devil’s Third…

How I even missed that is beyond me…

        1. I think you already know the answer to that but, but I think it is Devil’s Third, from Valhalla game studios.

Yes, I’m just too overloaded with Nintendo aura…

Anyway, I’ll buy that one too…

I’m getting this game, because it will be the first FPS that is actually made SPECIFIC for the Wii U.

It should actually be fine tuned and impressive.

And the awesome thing about this game is… wait for it. Drum roll, please! …. NOT A GENERIC FPS!!! I can’t wait to cut some enemies up with that sword when I’m not decimating them with the high tech weaponry. This game will have to do since we probably won’t ever see a Red Steel 3.

  7. this game looks like gun z 2. it looks like the only interesting game i might get for wii u.. i love fps.

  8. I’ll get this game day 1, in my country. I hope this shows those other studios that Nintendo have gamers that’s not just casual or whatever they think we are.
