Video game journalist Ian Sherr has tweeted that the Nintendo 3DS was the second best-selling video game hardware in the US during May. Sherr also says that Sony’s PlayStation 4 took the number one position. If you haven’t already seen it, here’s the best-selling video games in the US during May.
I’m kind of upset by this. Does Nintendo want the Wii U to succeed or the 3DS? Fuck! Nintendo, SUPPORT YOUR SYSTEM! NO WONDER SIGMA ON TSSZNEWS IS CALLING THIS A SINKING SHIP! UGH!

I’m just saying that the Wii U’s library is VERY lackluster compared to 3DS.

Alpha and omega Pokémon aren’t out first off. You forgot wonderful 101 for Wii u. Ocarina of time was not remade for Wii u, wind Waker was. Which was far better than the ocarina remake. You forgot donkey Kong tropical freeze which is better than donkey Kong returns AND it’s remake. You also left out Lego city undercover. And there are others.

3DS didn’t have many games until 2 years, give Wii U some time aswell.

If you can’t afford the games they release, it’s not their fault. Also, the Wii U has gotten just as much support from Nintendo the last months, and it looks like it will have even more than the 3DS in the future!

Well but that’s your problem actually. MK8 is such a polished, great game! If you’re really that desperate, go and sell your old Wii U games and get that game! Mario Kart is always an evergreen, unlike many action/platforming games out there…
I expected this to happen but now to see it finally fall means it was one hell of a feat to sell so much during it major lifespan. I’d say it still here to stay and it did wonderful to keep Nintendo afloat.
