Enjoy Ten Minutes Of Hyrule Warriors Footage

Tilmen from Nintendomination has uploaded ten minutes of Hyrule Warriors footage from a recent press event. The video footage of Hyrule Warriors is off-screen, but gives a good impression of how the game pans out during the first ten minutes of the demo. Hyrule Warriors comes out in September in Europe and the United States.

  1. I’m sorry, what? Footage? Oh damn, I was too busy looking at Zelda’s bust on that picture. PRAISE TEAM NINJA. Lol.

  2. Dear god I would give up my Wii U and games just to sniff Nintendo Commander Quadraxis moms cute little sweaty feet with painted black toes.. man oh my ohh my.

  3. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Great, I barely had my Wii U for 3 weeks and I have a defective Gamepad…

    Nice going High Command…

And I will get a damn free one replaced if it’s the las tthing I do!

    1. You’d better save your Nintendo Network ID with your email if you plan on trading it back. Lucky for you though, you probably bought all your games physically, so you don’t have to worry that much. I was really pissed when my Wii U was taking so damn long to come back from repair because my Wii U has almost $200 worth of retail and VC games! Oh, and your saves are tied to your Nintendo Network too. If you happen to lose your account, that’s all your Mario Kart racing thrown out the window. :/

What was your problem?, mine seems to be the Gamepad connectivity with the console…

          1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Beats me, It worked fine only 16 hours ago and I I’ve only treated it like a sacred thing…

            1. I’ve had mine for 6 months now and it’s still working perfectly. You just got yours so you should have a year of warranty.

              1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

                Yes…

I’m sure I do but knowing how life has treated me ever since I was born, everything will just screw itself somehow…

Well that sucks a big one. That’s even worse then my fucking friends like getting stuck at 69/100 then telling me I have reached my friend limit.
And of course it has to be 69…

                  1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

                    Yes…

If High Command does not fix this issue at once, many more will abandon our empire…

        1. Well, the problem with mine is that it kept disconnecting from the console everytime I move away from the console. It was really stupid. The Gamepad had to literally be on top of the damn console to stay connected. I dealt with it for awhile, but when I starting getting more games (where motion is required, shaking the Gamepad, etc,) that’s when I got really annoyed. I sent it in to Nintendo and waited for it and now it’s back. But if your Gamepad keeps disconnecting for no reason, I think there’s a solution to that. I called Nintendo customer service and followed the guy’s instructions and stuff, but of course, my Gamepad was acting like a retard failing every test I gave it. XD But I figured yours would probably pass it if it’s just disconnecting. May have to re-sync it by pressing the sync button under it. ;)

            1. Man, that sucks… I guess your only option now is to call Nintendo. They’re the only ones that can fix it. Unless you plan on trading it for a new Wii U. Best of luck to you man.

              1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Whatever happens, I will so not waste any more money on anything, I will get one replaced for free even if I have to go rogue…

                1. Hopefully, you get it fixed before September. You do not want to miss out on Hyrule Warriors! And well, at least the good thing that’ll come out of it is that Mario Kart will be safe since you got it physically. But did you already get the free game yet? Because that’s gonna suck if you lose free money…

                      1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Well I’ve already registered to the promotion and it said I would get a code sometime in August…

                2. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

                  I’m guessing that if I have a Wii U Pro Controller I wouldn’t get the same issue?…

                  1. Nintendo is my Blood

I believe they can replace the entire console, although It would need to be like in the return period, my Wii U is over 1 and a half years or so old, and it has given me no problem

Just go to your retailer, and return it, problem solved

              2. Did you try removing the battery and then put it back again? That solved the problem when I got it.

      2. That sucks. I know that happened a lot with the earlier ones, but I thought that they had gotten the kinks out in the newer ones. Well, I hope that you’re able to get a replacement right away! Are you able to play any of the games without it or are we still waiting on that update?

          1. One that will allow you to boot up the Wii U with the All Pro controller. That would be very useful for times like now when you don’t have a Gamepad at the ready. At least you would be able to have fun in MK8 as you wait for the replacement if that were the case

            1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

              I see…

Well, to be hones tI’m very disappointed with our empire…

We are supposed to have the most flawless machines and yet I’ve read hundreds in 1 hour that has about the same problems…

I’m sure there are thousands more, it’s not good for anything specially since the Gamepad is essentially the Wii U…

              1. I definitely agree, it’s really bad and I’m sure that it doesn’t encourage people to buy the console. At least Nintendo isn’t the only one as Microsoft and Sony had some big problems with their console at launch as well. It seems like all three just wanted to hurry up and get their products out at the expense of quality control. I really hope that it doesn’t happen to Smash Bros. (Although it looks great so maybe my worries are for naught)

                1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

I’m going to wait and see how it works tomorrow, if it was only today then maybe it was some weather interfierence or something…

                  One can only hope…

      3. Do you have lots of wireless connections going on around your wii u? Is the weather affecting connectivity? Do other controllers connect to the wii u? Suck as the wii mote? Or pro controller?

        1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

No, I’ve tried every troubleshooting solution, both official and inofficial and still the same…

      4. Wow! Are you serious? All the constant shit you talk to people about the Wii U, you seriously are just now getting one three weeks ago? Always defending a system you never owned in the first place. With how much you talk about “your empire” one would think you would have already had one at launch… Go figure, I’ve had one since launch and still don’t act as stupid as you do all the time about the Wii U…

As if you couldn’t get any lower in the fanbase gene pool, nothing is worse than a idiotic fan who doesn’t even own the system they talk about. You have been talking about the Wii U for months as if you always had one, now all the sudden you’re just getting one…

With how stupid you act all the time about Nintendo, you so deserved a broken Wii U. Seeing this comment made my day. I can only hope you go through hell to get it fixed, even when they return it, I hope it breaks on you again and again. Why? Because you deserve it for being such an ass hat all the time to other fans about a system you never even owned until recently.

        Thank you, universe.

        1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

          And your stupidity is striking…

          1. I’ve never said I owned a Wii U ever, you idiots assumed that…

          2. I’m “Nintendo Commander” not “Wii U Commander” which makes me defend all Nintendo related not just the Wii U…

          3. This proves just how pathetic you humans are with you taking the lead you ignorant piece of garbage…

          4. And you shouldn’t thank the universe considering the only thing you will ever get is death for saying this garbage to me, enjoy your last days…

        2. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

I could care less if he bought the Wii U next year. Least he’s finally supporting the console. Geeze. Ease up. Seriously, though, what did Quadraxis do to you, Michelle, to warrant such hate from you?

          1. I can’t imagine how many hours it took you to write that comment considering your retardness level. Poor thing.

        1. Your Mom? I never heard of THAT game before…do you own Your Mom? Have you played Your Mom before? What type of controller do you use to play Your Mom?

    2. I’m still seeing some spawning problems, with enemies popping out of nowhere. I hope they fix that in the final version. It’s one of those things that, while not gamebreaking, make it look very cheap.

        1. If you pay attention, you can see enemies just popping from air, usually behind the player. No animation, nothing. One second they aren’t there, the next they are.

    3. Had mine since it launched and its fine :) guess I’m a lucky one! If its still within the warranty take it back , its the retailers obligation to give you a new one for selling you a faulty product! Who knows may be as simple as swapping the game pad surely??

    4. Hate to say it, but Hyrule Warriors looks amazing and it’s going to be in my top 3 Wii U games. (Behind Super Smash Bros U and Mario Kart 8)

    5. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

Did anyone else hear Navi as the fairy with Link? >.< I hope it is. It'd be nice to see her again.

    6. To anyone who has played a Dynasty Warriors game:
Will a person hate this kind of game if they don’t like the typical 1-on-1 fighting games like Street Fighter, Tekken etc.? Because I got burned out of those type of games years ago. And if this Hyrule Warriors game felt too much like a standard fighting game, I’m not sure if I’d like it or not?

      1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

Uhm. This is a war hack & slash game, not a fighting game. So if you like games like God of War, minus the blood & gore, meets Call of Duty, you should like this game. That’s the best way I can describe the Warriors (Musou in Japan) series.

      2. I haven’t technically played many fighting OR beat-’em-up games, but I have often observed them from afar, and recognize a very big difference. In fact, these two types of games are opposites. Fighting games (Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken) are highly technical games about versatility and outsmarting your opponent. Beat-’em-ups (Like, erm, Dynasty Warriors), on the other hand, are about powerhousing through hordes of enemies for what some would consider a very gratifying experience. Ultimately, you can expect Dynasty Warriors (as well as Hyrule Warriors) to want to fantastically gratify you as much as they can, rather than ask you to work for a victory based on your technical skills the way a fighting game would, so don’t expect the game to push you out, as that would be the opposite of the game’s intentions. Actually, you may even sometimes feel that the enemies are just standing there waiting for you to hit them.

        1. Thanks! I do think it looks pretty cool. And since it’s based on Zelda characters, I don’t think I could possibly pass on it. Although……..I can’t see me paying 60 dollars for it. So I’ll probably still wait until it’s cheaper or something. Waiting……something I could never do when I was a kid.

          1. In my honest opinion, this sort of game where you spam some buttons to win is something worth putting lower on the queue, in hope of a price drop. If you do wait, I frankly think you’re making a wise choice.

        1. Same. I liked Navi. Only thing that annoyed me was her saying the same thing over & over, acting like Link was retarded. LOL!

          1. Lol not as annoying as the wii remote making a noise from the game and having Fi talk about how the battery is low.

          2. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

I never had that problem much with Navi since I usually did the story in chronological order. She tends to be less vocal as long as you stay on the set path. That & I liked to use Saria’s Song a lot to talk to Saria then to Navi. xD
