  1. I am glad to see Mario Kart 8 to be placed into second place.
Nintendo is a greatest gaming company whenever they made a great video games for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. :)

  2. Looks like Mario Kart 8 did some good after all. Now all it has to do is keep selling just like that. And GTA V is STILL selling? Wow, it’s like the whole Xbox/PS fanbase bought a copy or something. Lol that’s just crazy.

  4. I was looking for Animal Crossing, then realized that came out a year ago. XD Glad to see Mk8 is doing so well. ^-^’

  5. 4, UFC (PS4, Xbox One)
    5. FIFA 14 (PS4, 360, Xbox One, PS3, Vita)
    6. NBA 2K14 (360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, PC)

    AIDS

  6. You’d think that by this point, everyone on earth has Minecraft.

But no, it’s still selling like it’s new.

  7. Great to see MK8 kicking ass. The only excuses that Melee-less next gen lie that is Watchdogs is selling more because its a multiplat and fools honestly think its any better than GTA in anyway. If Wii U version were around as it should’ve been, MK8 wouldn’t stand a chance to outsell it until later in its shelf life. But in months, MK8 will surpass that POS gimped GTA ripoff.

    1. Comparing GTA to Watch Dogs is like comparing a steaming hot, freshly baked cake with chocolate icing on top to some store bought, knock-off mini pies. XD

      1. lol. totally spot on. i preordered watch dogs, played it, finished it and i have never been so disappointed ever in my whole life

Watchdogs was multiplat and Mario Kart 8 was not and it still landed second place. Awesome job!!!

    1. Yep, nice indeed. But if Watch Dogs wasn’t multiplat and just PS4, it would probably be neck and neck with MK8, if not less.

  9. lol watch dogs is so many platforms is the only reason it beat MK8.
kinda funny that MK8 it only has wiiu next to it.

  10. Ahhh. My country made sure it didn’t disappoint me with the sales of Mario Kart 8. Now if only they did a chart more similar to the UK & Japan’s sales charts instead of lumping all of the multiplats sales into one single number. But since Mario Kart 8 is only losing to Watch_Dogs with the multiplats lumped into one, it’s doing pretty damn good when stacked against all of those sports games. It might change, though, once WWE 2k15 releases. @.@

    1. Now where is Shuhei & sasori at? They talk a big game about how Japan is such a “minor” country when Wii U & Mario Kart 8 does well over there, so I want to hear their excuses for why it’s doing so much better in a “major” country like the United States.

      1. Well, to be fair, I was actually expecting this game to reach about a million in one week. It’s doing ok, I guess, but there’s still the holiday to see what happens when Nintendo has to compete with more games than just one. :(

        1. Well don’t forget it actually did sell over a million it’s very first week of release. In fact, I recall it selling over the lifetime sales that Polygon predicted it would be which was 1.2 million. lol I still remember that shit. xD Oh how wrong they were proven once the first week released.
