Story of Seasons will now feature a beginner mode for all fledging farmers who want to grasp the concept of the game. The newly added mode allows newcomers to lower the amount of energy your protagonist uses and the items featured in the game will be cheaper. The version 2.0 update will be available on July 24th in Japan. Story of Seasons will be coming to the west sometime later this year.

Yeah, but a different localization team picked up this entry, so they’re not using the English name of the game, Harvest Moon.
I wonder if playing on beginner makes you miss out on anything. I love Harvest Moon and have been playing since GameBoy Color, but it’d be nice to ease through it. I don’t get a lot of time for games, and this one is a pretty calm one that would be nice to play on easier.
