US video game retailer GameStop have teased on Facebook that they have a big announcement to share with everyone tomorrow. They showed the image which is posted above which looks like a protagonist from the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Most people assume it will be Assassin’s Creed Comet which is rumoured to be in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. While PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will get the gorgeous Assassin’s Creed Unity. When the news was originally reported there was no confirmation of a Wii U version. We shall have to wait and see tomorrow.

Update: Turns out the rumours and guesses were wrong. The big news is that GameStop will have an exclusive Red Hood story pack for Batman Arkham Knight which is on PS4, Xbox One, and PC

I hope Wii U at least gets Comet. I’m enjoying AC4 on Wii U and wish we were getting Unity but I have all the other AC games on 360, so I suppose i’ll play it either way, I just really liked the GamePad functionality in AC… Aside from unfortunately missing some form of Achievements/Trophies i’d say it could be the best version.

Unity looks awesome and I might get it on another platform if It doesn’t come to the Wii U. I think it’s cool how these games have multiplayer too. I so doubt its gonna happen and if it does, its a waste of time since Ubisoft already disrespected Nintendo fanbase one time too many to see those sales and loyalty again.
You can say that over and over but the fact is that there are Nintendo gamers who bought AC3 and AC4 on Wii U. They chose to buy it on Wii U which means that they’re less likely to buy the next one on another platform and will skip it entirely. Otherwise, they would’ve bought AC4 on another platform already. AC3 and AC4 weren’t gimped on Wii U so I don’t know why you keep saying that. Have you even played them?
AC3 isn’t really gimped. It got all the DLC I think and it came on time with Wii U’s launch. AC4 came on time too, but it didn’t get DLC. Probably because 3’s didn’t do good on the Wii U. A shame though because it would’ve been a nice bonus.
Poorly optimized online that’s nothing more than an empty lot because everyone else already got AC3 elsewhere 2 months ago. Late port also made AC4 gimped from DLC option and charge at full price with lesser Ubisoft support.

I played the first and second. Got bored in five minutes flat. Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid gives more tension and life in stealth.

black ops 2 on the wii u is an actual good game. yep typical wii u fanboys claiming third party ports are bad. i dont even care for the nuke town dlc map because the game is still great either way. i haven’t beaten the camping yet and its already great and interesting. the graphics are better than the ps3 and xbox 360 version. the online community is decent and alright. the zombie mode is a bit to hard for me. overall good game. 9/10. this isn’t even a generic dark gritty shooter.
It is good and I may get it eventually. But I’m still disappointed about the DLC. I would’ve bought it. :/
They should’ve gave us Nuketown as promised and at least one DLC pack like the Revolutionary Pack with the gun. I would’ve bought it myself too and that’s why I skipped Ghosts because of the DLC lie.
And since the box does say “add on content” and they didn’t deliver, that’s false advertisement and Activision can get sued for that.

Same here. I have 3 and 4 on Wii U and they’re great open world games and the online multiplayer is addicting. It’s not the type of franchise that I’d buy a whole new system just to play but I’ll buy it if it comes to Wii U otherwise I’m fine with skipping it. So the ball is in Ubisoft’s court. It’s not like NO ONE is buying their games on Wii U. If they want our money then they’ll have to deliver.
You said multiplayer is good? I have Assassin’s Creed 3 Wii U and I haven’t gotten around to it yet, but that sounds good. I was trying to finish the main story first, but this thing seems to be taking forever. XD I guess I’ll visit online today. :>
Definitely play the multiplayer. The game is worth buying just for the multiplayer itself. There are different game modes, maps, characters, costumes, etc. It’s a completely different experience from the campaign. Make sure you try the team modes. Artifact Assault is my favourite. The addiction comes from the leveling system and unlockables. And don’t forget, the online is 100% free!
