Tomodachi Life climbed this week to number three after being at number five the previous week. However, Mario Kart slipped a little to number six. Either way, Mario Kart 8 is consistently staying high in the rankings so it doesn’t matter if it sells less than MK Wii or the others. It still did increase the Wii U’s selling base and it will stay in the rankings for a very long time. Smash Bros will likely give it a boost as well. It will end up selling more than Watch Dogs (Individually of course) by the end anyway. I’m a little worried since I’ve heard that MK8 is lacking in content, but I’m still going to snag it soon

I bought White 2 from Target for $10.54 so I guess that’s the case since NWC is down.
Probably a discount as you can buy those games for fairly cheap in a second hand shop (though HG/SS are fucking expensive) besides, X and Y have probably sold to most of the people interested in the games, whereas 5th Gen didn’t get as much attention.

As much as I want to agree, Nintendo hasn’t really done anything to make themselves appeal to the more hardcore audience. I know it doesn’t really matter, but I don’t think Nintendo has ever made an M rated game. The farthest I’ve ever seen them go is T. And even then, they still use their cartoonish characters. Nintendo isn’t “kiddy” they just look like they are with the lack of mature titles. Yes, there are M games published by Nintendo, but that’s from other companies and Nintendo only helped with it. And not to mention, many people mainly recommend getting children Nintendo systems rather than the other 2 because they appeal more to families and kids the most. M games seem as if they are very rare on Nintendo systems. Which is why people label them as a “kiddy company”.
And they went on a “witch hunt” scale campaign to pretty much strip away anything that could allow mature gamers and adults communicate, share experiences with… We ARE being treated like kids now… Unlike the old days where they allowed for some leeway for adult gamers.
I hate it also. Nintendo consoles are most certainly not just for kids. ;)

I’m getting really tired of hearing and reading the Words “Kiddy” ad “Mature”…
A cartoon style does NOT make something kiddy just because it’s not gorefest or has pathetic cheap sexual content…
And many of these games hat people label as “Mature” often are more childlike than Mario games becase of their fable narrating garbag and the overexposure of trying to make itself to be taken seriously but only comes off silly…
Double Dash is gold, if it wasn’t so expensive I would recommend you to find a copy to play on your Wii (you would need a GC controller) The best parts are the character specific items and the Shine Sprite battle mode. Playing with 2 of your favorite characters are awesome too. Think, Rosalina and baby Rosalina tag team. 😁
worst part to me was the baby circuit. it was the shortest track (I think) ever. I don’t mean to sound hateful, but it gets boring after awhile, specially since it has no online. I did like it when it 1st came out, and I still like the concept. I think it’s too complicated though to ever bring back, especially take into online. :L
The dual-character karts is what everyone loved about Mario Kart DD. It adds more fun chaos into the mix but also creates an imbalance. But they’re in favor of two man karts instead of one.
Easily the best Mario Kart of all time! The tracks were all great and the item balancing was pretty good. No items that make you wince (Like the coins) and mastering the courses can really make a difference. I play it with my family and friends Every day. (Not every day with friends of course) It’s easily the most played game in my household
Mario kart 9, with anti gravity, two player in one kart, all battle modes back like they used to buy l be and a track editor.

Well we hope right? I mean they better have a better rooster this time around, they did good with everything else but battle mode.
They should bring back DD’s dual player karts as a separate mode (Co-op) from single kart racing, amp the item balance for one item as offensive and the other for defense along with implementing the Fusion Kart idea from Arcade GP and yes, fix the Battle Mode because MK8’s is just sad.
All these people buying Mario Kart 8, and not many above 18. I don’t accept friends under that because I’m 35 and want to avoid looking like a pedo. And NO ONE on my friends list to race! I admit, I’m not all “hardcore Mario Kart” and all that, but I’d like to enjoy SOME fun!

Watch_Dogs (PS4) sure is stubborn. Sadly, the more the PS4 version sales, the less likely the Wii U version will do good. And the less the Wii U version does, the less I’ll give a damn about Ubisoft staying on the console. Oh well. I can’t help but think most of Ubisoft doesn’t really give a damn about staying on the console, either, with their obvious preference for Sony & Microsoft consoles. In fact, they only supported the Wii with exclusives because of the high install base which they made obvious with the fact they don’t want to support the Wii U til it gets a big install base.. Just goes to show they care more for the money than the actual fanbase.
