The Nintendo 3DS version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been given a launch trailer. Developed by Magic Pockets, the new hack-and-slash title pits Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo against Baxter Stockman’s mutant horrors and the shadowy armies of the Foot Clan, who aim to terrorize New York City. Players can swap between the four main characters, each of which has his own set of unique skills. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game launched today, August 8th, alongside the release of Paramount Pictures’ film of the same name.

Nick’s TMNT will forever be my favorite TMNT. It’s the one that made me a turtles fan. (But all of the different TMNT adaptations I can enjoy) I’m going with a bunch of friends and we are going to enjoy it. You might not like it but hey different strokes for different blokes!

Off the subject of this game (but still about Ninja Turtles), has anybody noticed how the streets of New York (city that never sleeps) is always empty and deserted in the Nickelodeon Ninja Turtles series? I find that so odd. I’m always thinking, where is everybody?
Aside from that odd fact, the Nickelodeon series is the best Ninja Turtles series since the awesome original. The only thing that bothers me is Donatello having Raphael’s voice. Why couldn’t they have the guy doing Raphael’s voice instead of Donatello’s? Being a huge fan of the original, I keep thinking Donatello is Raphael every time he’s talking (when I’m not looking at the screen).
