Activision has released the promised multiplayer trailer for the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise, Advanced Warfare. We already know that the game has been announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, but a Wii U version has yet to be announced. You may remember that Wii U was found in the source code of the official website, but nothing has since been confirmed.

Does it really matter? I’ve been hearing Nintendo fans say for years that they hate Call of Duty. Wouldn’t matter if this is skipping Wii U. I actually kinda do care for Call of Duty and wish this was coming, but whatever.

They sell the xbox one w/o kinect now, that would probably be your best bet if you are looking for quality 3rd Party games. I would avoid the PS4 for now, I have played it the least of all the gen 8 consoles thus far.

Right now, if I had an X1, I would have Killer Instinct, Forza, and in the future, the Mastercheif Collection. Anyways, I would prefer the PS4, but I was just saying why someone would pick Xbox.

In terms of exclusives, I would probably want the X1. For third party, I’d probably want PS4. Idk, only time will tell which one end up having better exclusives for me. PS4 has TLOU and I’ve heard that it is a very good game and I want to try it, but the genre is in kind of turns me away from it… I mean like it’s a game with zombies and I usually hate zombie games. But the characters and gameplay just make me really want it. :)

Red Ring and exploding is the faults of all Xbox gens altogether. Microsoft stupidly took too damn long to realize Kinect was a huge waste from day one on 360 and still tried to push that huge turd on Xbox One and no, DRM is still very much alive because my neighbor owns one and still tells me on this exact present time that every new game disc he puts in also downloads a digital version from the Internet that takes too long to complete. That was part of Microsoft’s BS DRM policy they revealed last year so yes, DRM is still there. Xbox has a better controller? What dogshit are you sniffing? Xbox 1 controller was a huge ass round pad with one button too many. 360 has a crappy loose D-Pad and no integrated rechargeable battery. Xbox One, instead of keeping designs that worked, changed the sticks with odd feel and rubber tips that break easily, odd shoulder buttons and still no integrated battery for a 2014 game controller. Pathetic.
As proven, PS4 is better than Xbox One but its not perfect or untouchable itself. Its basically copycatting again with making PSN chargeable like Live, same x86 and same freaking games with hardly any exclusives. Sharing Metal Gear Solid 5 and Kingdom Hearts 3, Sony’s own flagship games, with Xbox/PC as well? Are you serious? CoD may not be the best FPS, but it destroys most other games in terms of fluid gameplay. 60FPS has always been better for these types of games. And if it lags like shit then you must have been the Wii versions out you had a really crappy PC.

Sure that’s probably it. The fact that its success causes a thematic overcentralization of what could be a very creative, immersive genre, the shitty gaming politics concerning the franchise and the kind of demographic it attracts probably have nothing to do with the haters.
While jealousy can be a variation of hatred I highly doubt it reaches the gamers on that level, possibly crazy fanboys and/or those that are of limited means, but mostly, the devs are the ones that get the jealous hate. Legitimate hate, it comes from personal experience.

I’ve been playing for over 20 years. I’ve played just about every type of game. So much so that not even Nintendo games impress me anymore. They’re all just remakes. If I can’t play cod on the WiiU and get my competitive fix, then the WiiU might as well die already.
I own two PS4’s and a Wii U and the PS4 is a superior machine, however in a FPS the motion controller is superior to dual analogs in every way. You pick four spots on the screen, you can hit those spots at twice the speed with the pointer opposed to the analogs- but the biggest advantage is with the nunchuka/pointer aiming and movement is 100% independent of each other, you can move in any way while maintaining vision on your target. You can’t be more natural than a pointer to mimic vision. It’s just a shame most PS4, XBox players are so incapable of being unbiased they can recognize the better playability. Would love to see the PS4 come out with a version of the motion control for these games.
