Bandai Namco Announce Disk Wars Avengers: Ultimate Heroes For Japanese 3DS

Bandai Namco has announced a new Marvel Avengers game for the Nintendo 3DS. Based on the Disk Wars animated series, Disk Wars Avengers: Ultimate Heroes will launch later this year in Japan. Known for publishing Disney games in the past such as Disney Magical World – or Disney Magic Castle – My Happy Life, as it was known in Japan – and more recently, Disney Infinity, Bandai Namco are taking on new adventures with Marvel’s popular Avengers.

Disk Wars Avengers: Ultimate Heroes will feature Spider-Man, Hulk Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Wasp as playable characters. The game’s story mode will take players on an adventure through the Disk Wars, where the intrepid heroes must escape the DISKS – otherwise known as biocode devices – and thwart Loki’s plans for world domination. The 3DS game will also feature a challenge mode and a gallery. Disk Wars Avengers: Ultimate Heroes is scheduled for release on November 13 for the Japanese 3DS. Plans for a western release are currently unknown.
