Nintendo UK Showcase Upcoming Wii U Games In Seven-Minute Trailer
Nintendo UK has uploaded a brand new trailer showcasing all games coming to the Wii U system between 2014 and 2015. With the hashtag #thetimeisnow, the seven-minute trailer begins with the world of Hyrule in the Zelda and Dynasty Warriors spin-off, Hyrule Warriors, then into the numerous games of the Mushroom Kingdom with Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Mario Maker, finishing off with a clip of Xenoblade Chronicles X to come full circle and back to Hyrule with Zelda Wii U.

why are you here anyways. This is a Nintendo site. At least Wii U has good games and great exclusives and not just multiplats. And the games that are already out they even said its out on the video. If they weren’t to show what games are out that would make people think there’s not as many games. Mario Kart 8 isn’t a platformer. Xenoblade Chornicles X isn’t a platformer, Smash Bros is a fighting game.. just because it has platforms doesn’t mean its a platformer.. a flat fighting ground would be boring. Bayonetta 2 isn’t a platformer, Hyrule Warriors isn’t a platformer, Kirby isn’t really a platformer in this one, Splatoon isn’t a platformer, and Zelda isn’t a platformer. And XB1 and PS4 are soon and already are getting flooded with shooters. Btw Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze are amazing. Mario Maker is going to be great. Yoshi is going to be great for little kids. Mario vs Donkey Kong.. not exactly a huge game so doesn’t really count. Captain Toad is going to be a lot of fun. There’s almost not a dull moment with Wii U. It has the best exclusives. You can keep your multiplats and EA and shooter.

I mean, yes and no. These are basically the ONLY games.
Devil’s Third, Watch Dogs, Star Fox, and Fatal Frame are all coming out next year. Plus there is a few dozen games already out for the Wii U, (Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Pikmin 3, Wind Waker HD, Zombi U, Nintendoland, Wonderful 101, AC 4, Rayman, CoD, etc).
It’s been 2 fucking years but it finally did get some games.
with a grand choice of exclusive games….. yeah not convinced that will attract people. I do believe a HD remix of xenoblade chronicle, last story and pandora tower will be a good way to put more wii U game.
I moan about how bad Nintendo Uk marketing the Wii U but I think it’s a little bit too late. Most of it is demo from E3 and with No firm date for the 2015, it’s very hard to get excited by it. I would have though devil the third will be in the trailer.
Also it would not be bad idea to include Watch Dogs just to bring more players and kind of state:” see the wii U can’t play hardcore game (but again we do not have a firm commitment from Ubi to release the Wii U version)”.
Anyway I really hope Nintendo will have more announcement to make during xmas. 2014 has been really poor again in term of game release…sorry I meant new retail game release cause it not the case for indie and virtual console games.
My hope is that Bandai-Nancom release a DBZ,tales of , Saint Seiya (hades chapter) and Naruto games. I would not mind if square-enix can release a old good Seiken desnetsu. Capcom a breath of fire and monster hunter 4, megaman legends will also be welcome. I think technical they can do it and it will be a win win situation for everybody.

Mmmm.. Good but unfiting. I njoyed all the content of the video but the end, where the Wii U logo is formed of game screens. I choose Nintendo because I love quality fun games especially when every one of them has a very own and unique style/gameplay. But the conclusion of the video is not quality fun, it is quantity options.
And whoever thinks quantity and quality are compatible when it comes to the art of creating video games shouldn’t have a Wii U. If you buy a Wii U you do not do it for graphics, or third party suport, you buy it for the exclusives and the fitting controls that the console provides to them.
I know Nintendo is in the need of sells, but quantity expressed that way is a cheap and unoriginal move.

If only we had this trailer when the Wii U debuted and better release dates for these games. As far as X goes it could come out December 2015 for all we know. Don’t show games if they aren’t coming out that year; but WAIT that would mean Nintendo only has 7 games to show per year. This year all Nintendo has had is Smash, Toad Tracker (US) DK, MK8, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta (2nd party) and Wii Sports club. There are other games to fill the gap, but they are mostly Indy’s (very few decent ones) and third parties, which are no where to be found. I don’t mean to complain, but it just seems like games are too far apart. I will always love Nintendo point blank, but I think they rushed the Wii U out; with games WAY to far behind.
We’re gonna have a new episode of COPS! on our hands one someone catches that sasori kid.

Thats a pretty good line up of games so far. Imagine this time next year, we will have a trailer full of completely different games. With games like Zelda, Metroid and Galaxy 3 coming soon you’d be a fool not to own a Wii U. Not to mention we will probably get Luigis Mansion 3, Star Fox (which I dont think they showed) F-Zero, Fire Emblem, and a whole bunch of new I.P.’s. When Nintendos back is against the wall, that is when they are at thier best. Nintendo will be making kick ass triple A games on Wii U at least through 2016. Maybe even through 2017. New hardware reveal in early 2018, maybe late 2017… Im waiting for Arkham Knight on my PS4, but I really believe that once Nintendo starts spitting out games like they did for the 3ds, My Wii U will recieve much more attention this generation.
Hm… Pretty impressive. I’m interested in Bayonetta 2, Splatoon, Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros, and Zelda U. That’s about it for now. I’m still hoping for Wii U to get 3rd party games because these exclusives (while they are good) just isn’t enough for me. There are currently about 12 third party games I want, so lets hope at least 6 of those will come to Wii U and I’ll be very happy. Here are the games I want: Far Cry 4, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Batman Arkham Knight, The Crew, GTAV, The Witcher 3, Destiny, Evolve, Dragon Age: Origins, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, and Mortal Kombat X. It’s unlikely, but it’s still possible, so I will keep my Wii U and keep holding faith that they come. :)
