The Pokémon Company International today showed a game trailer of the Mega-Evolved form of Slowbro, first revealed at the 2014 Pokémon World Championships in Washington, DC by Mr. Junichi Masuda, video game director at GAME FREAK. The gameplay trailer features Mega Slowbro in battle.
Slowbro is a Water- and Psychic-type Pokémon and one of two evolved forms of Slowpoke, the other being Slowking. When Slowbro Mega Evolves into Mega Slowbro, its energy gathers in the Shellder clamped onto its tail. As a result, the hardness of its shell is boosted, making its armor incredibly strong. In battle, Mega Slowbro balances on its tail, wearing Shellder as an impenetrable armor over its body.
Mega Slowbro has the Shell Armor Ability, meaning opponents can never land a critical hit, making Mega Slowbro a defensive threat in battle. Its Defense and Sp. Attack also increase, making it a great teammate for long battles requiring high endurance.
And so the nightmare begins…

But it kind of does make sense, thinking back to the Pokemon Ankme when Ash first witnessed a Slowpoke evolving into a Slowbro, they explained that it finally had enough balance and was able to stand up…?
Looking at this it’s kind of the same, he now has perfect balance :)

Slowpoke went from being a lazy, klutzy Pokemon that needed to be on all fours to a god at balance. It takes a master at balancing to stand up like that… ON HIS FREAKING TAIL!!! I wonder what Sloking’s Mega Evolution would be if it ever gets one. lol
